The best area to stay in Notley Hills is directly within the Notley Hills Estate, particularly around the central manor and vineyard.

This area is the heart of the Notley Hills experience, offering easy access to the main attractions. The estate is laid out with the manor house at its core, surrounded by sprawling vineyards and well-maintained gardens. Accommodation options here often provide views of the picturesque landscape and are just a short stroll from the wine-tasting rooms and the fine dining restaurant.

For couples seeking a romantic getaway, staying within the Estate itself is ideal. You'll appreciate the serene setting, the convenience of having world-class dining and wine experiences on your doorstep, and the opportunity for leisurely walks through the vineyards. Many accommodations offer private balconies or patios, superb for enjoying the tranquil mornings or evenings together.

Food and wine enthusiasts will also find the Notley Hills Estate to be the superb base. You're right in the middle of the action, with direct access to cellar door experiences, gourmet meals prepared with local produce, and often culinary workshops or vineyard tours.

The best time to visit Notley Hills is during the warmer months, from November to April, when the weather is ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the region.

During this period, you can expect pleasant temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 26°C, with less rainfall. This makes it superb for enjoying the walking trails through the Notley Hills Gorge, exploring the vineyards, or taking a scenic drive along the Tamar River. The longer daylight hours also allow for more extensive sightseeing.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the opportunity to visit the local wineries and enjoy outdoor dining experiences. The mild evenings are superb for stargazing or simply relaxing on a hotel balcony with views of the hills.

For families, these months offer the best conditions for outdoor adventures. Children can enjoy picnics by the river, exploring the nature reserves, or participating in farm visits without the worry of cold or wet weather. Many local attractions also have extended opening hours during the peak season.
