"This our second year at Cape Guinevere, and once again we had a wonderful stay. The house is cozy and well equipped, and really just perfect for our family to gather for meals, walks around Lancelot Shores, and of course for fires around the fire pit. It is close to Rochester and stores but we felt like we had our own private getaway in the woods. We’d go back again in a heartbeat!"

Our hot cocoa welcome gift was a nice surprise on the chilly Thanksgiving weekend! We enjoyed that in front of the cozy gas fireplace. Highly recommended."

The location was perfect for my teen children — they loved the kayaks, the small swimming area, and the location. They could walk to town for ice cream and have a little independence. "Our experience was what we wanted and more. A short walk through the field and greeted by a beautifully landscaped plot displaying the yurt. Our oasis for this short stay. Essentially everything one needs is here. Bed, shower, running water, electricity, small kitchen, lounge deck, and fire pit with chairs. "The view is lovely & yard well manicured. The gazebo & patio are very nice. The owners are super respectful, which is appreciated. Most everything was quite clean. The banana bread, waters, coffee & creamer were very nice touches. The decore was wonderfully eclectic. I did have a nice time hiking and going through the antique shops. "Staying at the Reuben Diamond house was a perfect choice for our trip to New Hampshire. The house perfectly captured the essence of New England and all it had to offer. The combination of it’s historic charm and modern comfort is tough to achieve, but our host did it perfectly!
