"The property was great and worked very well for our family on a trip that was Chicago-centric. It was effectively 35-55 min from downtown based on traffic and was easy to to as well as easy to park more than one car. The bathrooms were well appointed and had everything we needed. It wasn't mentioned in the description, but there is a public bike/walking trail right across the street. We had a couple of great strolls right along a scenic river, really really pleasant."
"The surrounding area was nice but This property is nothing like the unit that was advertised, and I feel completely misled. I reached out immediately after noticing the issue and asked to be switched to the correct unit, but my request was ignored.
The condition of the place is absolutely unacceptable. The walls are filthy and look like they haven’t been cleaned or maintained in years. There are bugs throughout the unit, which raises serious concerns about sanitation and hygiene. To make matters worse, the bathroom was clearly not cleaned before my arrival—there was hair left in the shower, making it obvious that the space had not been properly prepared for a guest.
This is far from the standard that was promised in the listing. Not only is it misleading to advertise one thing and deliver another, but it also shows a complete lack of care for guest comfort and safety. Paying for a unit under these conditions is unfair and extremely disappointing, and it reflects very poorly on the management of this property.
