"This hotel is centrally located in downtown Sioux Falls. The ac was cold, beds were comfy, and breakfast was decent for a continental with hot eggs, bacon, and sausage available. We have stayed at other Country Inn hotels that maintained a higher quality so our expectations were based off that. Overall it was a decent stay. The negative aspects are limited onsite parking- we had to park at an adjacent lot which wasn’t a huge problem but wasn’t made clear at registration. The hotel appeared adequately staffed but every time we needed to approach the front desk we had to ring a bell and wait. Daily housekeeping was included but we did not have it offered- they did stop by with more bath towels. The elevator is very slow, we opted to take the stairs due to long wait times. The bathroom was not very clean in our room- there was hair in the shower and under the vanity when we arrived. Lastly, the walls are very thin. We could hear every door close, anyone walking above and below us, and outside as well. The onsite restaurant was not open all weekend so I was unable to give feedback. The menu looked great and we would have liked to try it. Overall, there were minor inconveniences- I would stay here again but I was holding a higher standard based on previous experiences with this hotel chain."

"It was a very nice property, will stay again. Only thing I would change is the pillows, they could be a little firmer and I didn’t travel with my steamer, I had to ask the front desk for an iron. I like when irons are already in the room. The parking was very limited in the self parking area. Overall hotel is well maintained and in a great location"

Sheraton Sioux Falls Hotel & Convention Center

"I'm a senior and have never been in a large hotel like the Sheridan. When I walked in and was wondering what to do, a young staff member asked if he could help me. I told him why I was there and he asked if I was registered. I said yes, so to the computer we went. He asked for my driver's license for identification purposes, had me sign a document and gave me the keys to my room. He gave me exact directions on how to get to the room. My questions may have sounded routine to most people, but the staff member treated me with much respect and answered every question like they were very important. That definitely calmed my nerves. Before I left the check in area to head to my room, the young staff member said he saw it was my birthday on my driver's license and wished me a big Happy Birthday and then all the staff in the area shouted out a Happy Birthday! It meant a lot because on that day I was celebrating 75 years! If it helps, the staff member who was so helpful and kind was Cayden. I told Cayden I work at the University of South Dakota Law Library and call law vendors frequently and I recognize good customer service. Cayden's customer service was superb! Thank you and God bless you Sheridan staff!"
