"Manpreet the host, personally picked me up from the Calgary airport as soon as I landed. He was kind and talkative on the ride. The room is in a large home in a beautiful neighborhood close to the bus stop. We share the kitchen and bathroom with other guests. Manpreet and his mother are warm and generous, taking care of each guests needs. They are wonderful people and perfect hosts. I felt perfectly welcome and very well cared for. "Compared to nearby high rise apartments/condos, staying in a real neighborhood in an updated duplex was a treat. The furnishings were tasteful and practical. Even without A/C we managed by opening screened windows and running a large pedestal oscillating fan. Bus #90 stop was literally one block away. The Light Rail transit at Bridgeland Memorial was a pleasant 10-15 minute walk away."

When i searched places i searched NW area, n this place was listed under NW area, the address is actually NE, so a little further away from where we wanted to be but all good. For some reason i thought it had a stove so we could cook n not eat out constantly, but no stove. "
