Perfect location and rooms. The room was fantastic and breakfast was spot on with loads of choice. The pub next door was a great village pub with a great menu and friendly service. Will stay again

Booked the hotel & checked in around 12:30, and left the room at around 3:30/4pm in hopes to return in the morning to freshen up as we were off on a night shift. To our shock we returned and were greeted by a lady ( assume one of the owners ) and she looked very confused! Asked what room we were in and let us carry on to the door, we found the door was open ( I had locked the door and had the key to the room ) she then came over and said we thought you had left so emptied the room and changed the sheets and towels and said what do you want me to do now, this was at 8:45am in the morning ( check out not until 10:30am ) we explained even though we shouldn’t have to that we were on a night shift and came to freshen up but we were refused the room! They could have rang us, or left the room alone till we checked out at least. Never experienced this before anywhere. One of the owners was very apologetic, but after asking for any sort of compensation for the issues caused I never heard back so had to contact Expedia directly.

Stay at Church Farm Lodge many over the last 6 months. Always a friendly welcome. Rooms are always spotless and comfortable. The Tollemache pub, a stones through away, do very good food.

Great place

One night stay in a double room which was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was self service but was being cooked in very small batches so everything was freshly cooked and delicious.

Stayed over for one night due to business in the local area, was very grateful for the extremely comfortable room bed and armchair in front of a smart tv. Shower was also most welcome. Hosts were very hospitable, the breakfast was top notch and a great night’s stay and sleep overall

Calm, amazing, comfortable suite

WOW, beautiful, clean, relaxing suite. Can not fault anything! The bath was amazing, the bed, luxurious, staff attentive and the breakfast scrumptious! You will not be disappointed 1 tiny bit!

Excellent, bit remote but worth the diversion

Very good, room clean and comfortable bed. Only critism is that the breakfast food was a bit dried out and overcooked otherwise tasty. Need access to milk and coffee making ingredients in the dining room

Clean, comfortable, good value.

An ideal lodge. We were with a couple who have mobility issues. The car was parked close to the ground floor lodge and therefore easily accessed. The lodge was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was moderen and immaculate. We would very definitely stay again.

There was a slight admin mix up regarding the booking which was quickly resolved. All the staff we came into contact with were lovely, Church Farm is a very good facility and represents very good value for money
