Amazing!
Nothing can beat the beautiful ocean views right outside your back door. We enjoyed this property with our 5 kids and 3 grandchildren (ages 1-3). Everyone had the option of going from the beach to the pool, to the kitchen for snacks, to the bed for naps all right there. The house is well equipped with most everything you need. We snorkeled around the north side and decided the snorkeling right out back was some of the best! This gave those antsy people something to do and what beautiful marine life right there. Go to Rum Point if you want a calm beach where the kids can access the water more easily or Starfish beach is a short drive away. There are sea turtles off the dock at Rum Point if you want to snorkel with those ... so cool! We also loved our tour with Captain Ben to Stingray City and some other great spots. The road is busy and loud if you're staying in one of the bedrooms by the street, otherwise you don't hear much at the back of the house. We stocked up on groceries at Hurley's (Foster's was a mad house) and then used the local market 4 doors down for random purchases. You can walk there on the beach. We had some strong winds but on the days that were calmer we used the kayaks which were fun. Having the dock to launch from for snorkeling was a plus. Not the best water entrance for young kids to hang out at - too much coral - but they enjoyed playing in the sand and the pool. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off - very convenient. The house was immaculate.

What we hoped for and more!
Jason was so very responsive to all our many questions and could not have made our first VRBO experience any better or stress free! Karen was amazing, we called for one question while there an we could not hear her, and within a very short time, she showed up. Excellent "customer service". The home was gorgeous, clean, and exactly as shown. Plenty of room for our family of 9 adults with together time and enough space to have some distance if needed. I would only suggest updating "info book", charcoal and fluid was outside by grills, not in laundry room; could not find the guest book to sign, and we were not sure what to do with the small amount of food (unopened bottle water, adult beverages, condiments, snacks, etc). We did leave it in the fridge in case cleaning crew wanted to take, but we also felt a litte funny doing so, in case it just created more work for them to throw away. Exceeded our expectations and would HIGHLY recommend! THANK YOU for an amazing place for our large family.

Quality time with the family!
We had a great stay at Coco Kai. We love this side of Grand Cayman. It is quiet. The house is perfect. Nice bedrooms, two nice family rooms, nice dining area, nice kitchen, nice pool, great beach, and great snorkeling! The owner was pleasant to work with. He set us up with where to get our groceries and an excursion to stingray city with Captain Ben. It was great quality time with our family! I would highly recommend Coco Kai. We travel a lot to VRBO properties and this definitely deserves 5 Stars across the board!

Great location and plenty to do
We were a group of 12 adults and there was plenty of room to spread out if we wanted to, and plenty of room to come together. We hired Rent a Chef to cook 2 buffet meals for us and there was plenty of counter space in the kitchen for the chefs/food and the dining table accommodated all 12 of us. I highly recommend Rent a Chef. The pool is smaller than it appears in the photos, but very clean, fun, and a perfect temperature. Plenty of kayaks for our group. Request the snorkel gear and life jackets from the owner the first day you're there so you can enjoy the wonderful water outside your door. Bring water shoes because the ocean there has a rocky bottom. One day we kayaked to Over the Edge Cafe, it's a long haul but worth the paddle. We hired Captain Ben for a 1/2 day catamaran trip to Sting Ray City and 2 snorkeling spots, it was amazing. My mattress was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were top notch. The tap water is just fine and with 2 refrigerators there is plenty of room to chill all of your food and drink. The house is on the quiet north side, about 40 minutes from the airport and 7-mile beach. There is a small grocery store just a 3 minute walk from the house that has everything you need, but shop at Foster's and Blackbeards near the airport for better prices. There are two arcade games in the lower level that the guys enjoyed. Plenty of chaise lounges to relax by the pool or on the beach. The long dock was great too! I give this place 2 thumbs up.

Property was very nice. Exceptionally clean upon arrival. Plenty of room for our family including 5 adults and 4 children ranging in ages from 7 to 13. The collection of games and video games was a hit with the kids. Snorkling off the private beach and dock was great. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Perfect amount of space for our larger group. The store down the street was great to have, along with the Over the Edge restaurant a short drive up the road. Was able to enjoy the pool, beach, and ocean every day. Would recommend a stay here at CoCo Kai.

Fantastic home base for vacation
This was our second stay at Coco Kai, and like the first one four years ago, it was fantastic. Coco Kai was comfortable, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to give everyone their privacy, but also has great spaces for us to be together. The snorkeling right behind the house was wonderful, a natural habitat that is fun to explore. With our rental car, we went all over the island for additional beaches, dining, and shopping, but often found that we enjoyed just staying the whole day at Coco Kai, relaxing on the beach or in the pool, cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, and being together. Jason was a great host and we look forward to returning to Coco Kai again in the future

Awesome place to stay with family & friends
We had a group of 9 for our stay at Coco Kai on our annual scuba/getaway trip. We stayed 10 days and loved every minute of it. There was more than enough room for everyone and everything about the house was as advertised. The pool/beach area was our favorite hangout and was an awesome location to lounge around in the constant breeze. The only issue we had was the upstairs water heater was not on at the start of our stay, but one quick phone call to the property manager and the issue was fixed. We will definitely be back at Coco Kai for our next trip to Grand Cayman! Highly recommended!

Perfect property for family
The house was perfect for our family. We had our 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren stay there. We loved the location on the quiet side of the island. There is a sandy beach, which many on the north side do not have. We would definitely stay there again!

This is a little gem
We booked this place at the last minute and the owner was very accommodating and responsive. The owner even allowed us to have a few friends over for lunch on Sunday. The property itself is very comfortable and homely. The most noticeable thing is how clean the entire place is. It is not a new house but that did not matter to us. The house was clean and inviting. The six bedrooms and six bathrooms were plenty for us as we were a group of 8. The pool was very clean and we used the charcoal grill one of the evenings. We walked to the small grocery and liquor store three houses away!! The house has a good, comfortable and unpretentious vibe which we loved. The view was lovely but you can’t swim in the ocean outside. That is so for most of the properties on that side of the island. The only challenge for us was that the kitchen and living room were on the second floor but even that was not too much of an issue. There were three bedrooms upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs. Downstairs also had a small living room area so everyone had their own space. We would stay here again.

Great for large family gathering
We had a great stay at Coco Kai! Very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. Lots of space for large families/groups. We enjoyed the kayaks and snorkeling, and just hanging out by the pool/beach. It’s a short drive to restaurants, crystal caves and botanical gardens if you’re looking for things to do. Most days we stayed in and cooked. There’s a small market within walking distance. Recommend grocery delivery for larger food orders. Check supplies when you arrive (charcoal, trash bags, paper towels) and if you need them restocked, just let the property manager know and they will provide right away.

Great place to stay. 10 of us stayed, ages 7 to 70. Everything we needed was there. Snorkeling and kayaking were fantastic until our last two days when the wind and waves kicked up. We brought our own snorkel gear but the gear that was there was nice too. Took an excellent boat ride with Captain Ben as recommended and would highly recommend doing that. The area was great if you want to be away from the crowds. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the beach, pool, and neighborhood. We would highly recommend this place for a family. The only issues we had were that essentials such as toilet paper, soaps and etc. were not well provided. The dishwasher also did not clean well and the faucet broke.

We did replace the dripping faucet within hours of you notifying us of the issue. This spacious home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving vacation. Being on the quieter north side and right on the beach with almost everything we needed included made for a great stay. We visited the caves, Botanical Park and Parrot Sanctuary - all within a short drive from the house. Jason includes many extras- water sports equipment, video games, 2 separate living areas ( adults didn’t have to watch cartoons!), games, and a very well stocked kitchen! Definitely 5 stars ( probably the first 5 star review I’ve written)

Best villa we have ever stayed at
What an amazing villa! We had a great vacation at Coco Kai. The Villa is very large with plenty of room for a big group. Each bedroom having its own connected bathroom was a huge bonus. The kids really enjoyed the arcade machines in the downstairs living room. Having two living rooms was great. The kids took over the downstairs and the adults stayed upstairs. The house is very well taken care of and clean. The Wifi was super-fast. The private beach has perfect sand with a nice dock. Snorkeling behind the house was incredible we saw lots of fish, stingrays, and even a puffer fish. There are lobsters living under the dock! The kids did not want to leave the house and only wanted to snorkel all day. We had some great sunset BBQs on the deck and the heated pool was very refreshing. Jason was easy to deal with and answered all of our questions. It was my husband's birthday and the bottle of champagne he sent over was really nice. We enjoyed some of the local food at the Caboose restaurant just down the road. Kaibo and Tukka were also fantastic. We will definitely be coming back next year as this was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at.

Magical home in fantastic Cayman Island
The house is fantastic. The bedding, towels and similar products are easily hotel quality. The space and amenities are great. The kitchen is very useable and has some of the best equipment of any VrBO house that I’ve stayed at anywhere. Walking on to the beach was a real treat. The pool was smaller than it looked in the pics but it did the job as a plunge and cool off spot. The kayaks and snorkel equipment was fantastic and real bonus. We saw rays and a ton of fish right off the doc. Driving north to Starfish point and run point was easy and our favorite area. Getting the Georgetown, the big grocery store at Savannah and the southern area took longer than maybe it should - but single road and a good chance of getting stuck behind a slow moving truck made that a little inevitable. Spott beach to snorkel with turtles was a treat on our last day. We also went out with Captain Jerry’s Watersports to go fishing and another trip to go to Stingray City and other snorkel spots. Strongly recommend him. His hospitality, knowledge and the boat were all first rate. Dwayne was a great help to him and wonderful with our kids. All in all, the home was great. All good sized rooms and all with their own bathrooms. The kitchen was great and the BBQ stocked with charcoal on request. The management was great and accessible. Love this house, love this island. For the first time ever we think we may well ‘be back’ for a revisit. It’s a special place.

Fantastic property, the best I have ever rented. Amenities galore.
Grand Cayman is extremely expensive. Gasoline over 7 dollars a gallon. We enjoyed our trip especially swimming with the sting rays. Almost lost a kayak due to the tide taking it but found it later. Renters should be aware to bring the kayaks above the tide line. The property was extremely well cared for and with all the amenities you could want.

This was a good property, the only exception being the downstairs AC in the queen bedroom overlooking the water didn't work at all and 2 of the team had a nice view but it was hot. The property manager and owner did try to get it fixed but could not before we departed--they were responsive. Would have been good if all units had of been tested and turned on before our arrival as we booked weeks in advance. Other than that, property suited our needs and was comfortable. Thanks Jason.

Relaxing home with breathtaking views
We enjoyed our staycation here at Cocokai. The house is well kept, clean and spacious. Lots of bedrooms, and bathrooms! That's a plus when you have a larger group. The backyard has a pool and the beach is just steps away. We spent a lot of time using the kayaks, swimming and snorkeling. Highly recommend this home. We will be back!

There were eleven in our visiting party, but with 6 bedrooms, 6 1/2 baths, there’s plenty of room for all. The sandy beach and pier were enjoyed daily. Great snorkelling, swimming and kayaking. Fish and lobster right in front of the villa. The heated pool was a great gathering spot, and the table and chairs on the patio are an added comfort. Throw in a new barbecue and plenty of loungers for all, and you have a spot for every preference. The house is fully equipped with whatever you will need for a great visit. All areas of the house is air conditioned. Laundry room on the main floor is handy, and the kitchen fully equipped. Chisholm's grocery store is a 2 minute walk and is well stocked for whatever you might need. Jason and his site manager Karen, were very responsive to the few occasions that they were called on, and are very accommodating. We appreciated the courtesy they extended. In fact, Jason was gracious enough to offer an extended stay, If we were unable to leave because of the corona virus, free of charge. We needed one extra day because of cancelled flights. Thanks again for that Jason. Our booking at Coco Kai went exactly as planned

Awesome family vacation
Our group of 11 from Grandparents to a five year old had a wonderful time at this property. One of the cleanest places we have stayed. The beds and sheets were very comfy and plenty of room in the house to spread out. The five year old was in the pool every possible time she could be and the young couples enjoyed taking the kayaks out each day. We ordered our groceries from Hurleys and it was ready for pick up on our way from the airport. You are definitely a drive from Seven Mile Beach area but we totally enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely come back again if ever in Grand Cayman.

Lovely house as advertised. Older folks and youngsters who chose to stay spent most of our time in and around the house, pool, ocean, and tv. Dining out was a treat and easily accessed. Jerk chicken stand 50 feet from house for example. Over the edge restaurant about 8 miles from the house, left my wallet there by mistake , owner found it ,kept it safe and returned it to me with all the contents untouched. I was impresses it was stuffed with cash. The owner Jason was promp with any questions or concerns. Property supervisor and grounds were courteous and friendly. Will definitely recommend the property.

This property is as amazing as it looks!
This property is as amazing as it looks! A group of us were in Cayman for business and we extended our personal stay on the island in Coco Kai. The property was easy to find. We loaded up on food/drinks in Savanah but the store just up the street has any items you would need that perhaps you forgot. Also, the East end has anything you would need if you wanted to take a quick drive. Make sure you purchase coffee! The property manager unfortunately took what was left by the previous guests. The kitchen has tons of spices and every pan or kitchen utensil and appliance you could ever need. We loved the outside grill! The view was wonderful, the pool was great to have when the ocean didn't want to cooperate due to high waves. The kayaks did get use. Snorkeling off the dock was wonderful, lots of fish and a turtle spotting at one time. Don't panic about bringing sunblock, there were bottles left by other guests we left 3 travel sized bottles of our own. If more is needed you can easily buy it but it was nice not having to worry about it on a flight where we didn't check bags. The only thing we didn't like on our stay was that the property manager showed up unannounced to retrieve something from the garage and to inform us that someone would be coming by to fix one of the outdoor showers. They did show up at the end of our dinner time and had to shut off the water. We just cleared the house and went to the dock. We were disappointed that we were not given the heads up upon checking into the property as the property manager was still there. This by no means put a damper on our stay. If you book Coco Kai you will not be disappointed! There were 6 of us on this trip and we couldn't find the guest book sadly; everyone wanted to leave their own little note but we are just pooling our review here instead.
