"When I stayed in the penthouse, this felt like a great secret find, and I mainly wish I had made more use of the kitchen and living space. I will have to come back, and wil have my friends stay in the other rooms so we can enjoy the site more fully! Great staff too, even when I was having a late-night arrival. I'm at least glad I walked across the street to the nice beach multiple times. "

"We had an excellent stay at Maui Beach Resort. The property was very clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly throughout my visit. A special mention to Mark, the security guard, who truly went above and beyond to assist with a late check-in—his kindness made a great first impression. The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. The unit itself was lovely, with a refreshing ocean breeze that made the stay even more relaxing. The resort also features a large pool and a spa, which were both fantastic for unwinding. Overall, a wonderful experience—I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"We stayed two nights here and 3 nights at a resort in Kaanapali and have to say much preferred our time here and in Kihei. When you’re at the resorts you feel trapped and when you are here you feel free. Our villa was so spacious, clean and new and the three pools were awesome. My 10 year old daughter couldn’t get enough of the the slide."

"We love staying at sugar beach!vacasa took care of the arrangements.Janalyn who is locally with Vacasa was especially AWESOME!!!!With the storm that had gone through the week before,,,one of the condo buildings did not have elevator service(we were on booked for 5th floor).Janalyn took care of the situation and found availabilty for us in other building on 1st floor! We are senior citizens who would have been greatly challenged doing 5 flights daily! So much appreciate her!! She deserves to be recognized by management Thank You So Much Janalyn.We will definately use Vacasa again."

"Staying at this ocean cottage was wonderful. The cottage owners are warm and caring and take pride in creating a comfortable, thoughtful, and memorable experience. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained—cozy, clean, and perfectly situated just steps from the beach. Waking up in the morning and going to sleep at night to the sound of the ocean waves was restorative. What truly set this place apart were the little extras that made beach days effortless and enjoyable. The provided beach chairs, lush beach towels and beach umbrella were all in excellent condition and made lounging by the water incredibly relaxing. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with care, hospitality, and thoughtful amenities. We can’t wait to return! "

"The stay was very pleasant. The studio is quite spacious and fully equipped. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and just a 5-minute drive to a mall with a variety of shops and restaurants. The host provided very clear instructions at all times, so there was no confusion. The pool and jacuzzi were in excellent condition. We even asked for a late check-out by a few hours and they kindly accommodated us. I highly recommend it."
