"The place wasnt refreshed for our stay. Dust inside all the cups and on the tables etc. A dead roch sitting in the container that held the tea n sugar. Need to supply 2 more towels as there was 2 people staying 2 nights and we only had 2 towels. Lawns were unkept. Theres a tin shed ryt out where the bed is. It was scratching n banging up on the wall and keeps you from falling into deep sleep. The blue pillow cases had dribble stains on the fabric. If these details where more tended to it would...

"It was very cool and we had a really nice time. Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but we were lucky that we could check in early. The staff were friendly and the $40 credit for the room covered breakfast. The only small gripe was that we couldn't watch the All Blacks match on the TV, but aside from yhat, it was a great place to stay"

"We stayed in a deluxe room which gave us access to the lounge where coffee and drinks were available 24/7. Beds were very comfortable and parking was easy but the stalls were very tight. In the center of CBD and walkable to every where. Will definitely stay again when in Wellie."

"The hotel is attached to the NZICC, which is convenient for attending conventions/conferences. That's the best thing about the hotel. The rooms were nice but not outstanding in my opinion, they had all that was required, bath robes, slippers etc. My view from the 7th Floor looking out towards the harbour backed onto the TVNZ building with their Satellite dishes. The staff were friendly but that was about the extent of things. Breakfast in the morning at the grill, I was left to find my own table and had to call wait staff over to order a barista made coffee (which was not included in the buffet breakfast). A staff member could have shown me to a table (they were not busy when I had breakfast at 7am) and taken my coffee order. The buffet breakfast selection was okay. The cut up fresh fruit could have been better, half oranges, kiwi fruit and pineapple pieces, plus' a couple others but no fresh melon like other hotels in Auckland. The bacon on offer was a bit too "crispy" too. If you want a great buffet breakfast at an Auckland hotel I recommend the Cordis. The hallway outside my room didn't look like it had been vacuumed with bits of fluff, thread on the carpet but I did see staff vacuuming the carpet! I just think they need a more powerful vacuum cleaner. Overall I would stay again due to the convenience of the location to the NZICC but for luxury/leisure I believe Auckland has better options."
