"The pictures definitely do not do this place justice. So wonderfully decorated for the holidays with tons of lights and bears and cute decorations and details everywhere. The home had all the necessities and was very clean and spacious. From the deck we had a nice view of the lake (though it is very low at the moment) and the neighborhood around the home was adorable and super walk-able. We loved the fireplace and cozy living room. "While the cabin is a lovely place, we have an elderly family member and a blind family member, the path from the driveway into the house is very muddy right now making it uneven, and the walkway is cracked and uneven leading up to the stairs. So while this house was a nice place to stay, it is not recommended if anyone in your party requires ADA accessibility."

Another huge benefit is that it's within Yosemite National Park boundaries so we didn't need a Park permit to go to Yosemite. It was wonderful to return here after a day of hiking.
