"It was such a cute property which perfectly accommodated dour adults. We enjoyed walking to the pier and the bars and restaurants there as well as to the nearby breakfast place the next morning."

"Our room was clean and quiet. Our bed and pillows were a little too firm. Breakfast was adequate but I’ve had better at other hotels. We chose best western plus because bed linens and breakfast should have been upgraded. Each day did have eggs but bacon and sausage were poor quality. There were only apples for fruit, but did serve orange juice, yogurt was lower quality, oatmeal was only pre-sweetened, only white bread or bagels, no milk cartons. There was a coffee machine with various selections. The location was convenient and walkable to the beach, restaurants and farmer’s market and Coaster train. "
"Travel the way it used to be. This 50’s style motel that is being refreshed provided the basics of travel at a fair price. The room was clean, linens were clean, the A/C worked, it had blackout curtains that actually worked, the bathroom was just remodeled, plenty of dining options within a couple blocks and you can park right by your room for ease of access. And beach access is just 3-4 blocks through a quiet residential neighborhood. An excellent choice for the budget conscious traveler who has the right expectations. "
