  • Our hideaway is only metres from restaurants, bars and cafe's yet tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. Leave the car behind - six beaches within walking distance or take a dip in our solar heated plunge pool. Enjoy all that Norah Head has to offer, with coastal bush walks, protected lifeguard beaches while staying in your own modern bungalow. Visit the iconic Norah Head lighthouse, just a short walk away. Our house is situated at the back of the property in case you need anything. Great for couples, solo adventurers, or business travellers.

Winter stay at Norah Head

We had a wonderful time enjoying the various walks along the coast and to the lighthouse. The property was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the surprise breakfast package. Will look to come back and have recommended to friends.

Norah Head Cottage

The hosts John and Jenny were fantastic from the moment we arrived. Very welcoming and also providing local information which allowed us to visit some very pleasant spots during our stay. They also offered many little extras which made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend this little gem.

We had a really lovely two nights without our kids staying in this quaint little cottage. The layout and amenities, cleanliness, privacy and overall feel of the place was spot on. The local beach was perfect for swimming with gentle rolling waves, and the beach walks were absolutely perfect for unwinding. We stayed local one night and went to the Entrance another night for dinner, but enjoyed both local cafes in walking distance for breakfast, and indulged in the local patisserie pies for lunch. Some thoughts to make the stay a 10/10 - a mattress upgrade (bed was ok but did sink in the middle noticeably) and perhaps some clear timings for use around the shared pool. On arrival we went to change and jump in the pool, but was beat to the post by the host family. As guests we would find it a little less awkward if there was clear host vs guest time allocations, or pre-communicated timings to use the pool without feeling like we were impeding others use! Overall we highly recommend this cottage and would stay again.
