"I liked this hotel but the pillows were very uncomfortable and I didn’t find the very friendly. We dropped our luggage off early but it was just put into a room, like a board room. Was a bit worried but it was fine. It was so close to the rail station, 2 minute walk which we loved. But a little further from Old town than I thought but it wasn’t too bad, 15-20 minute walk. You get a free pass for the bus which was pretty easy to get around with and saved our legs at the end of the day. Overall I liked this hotel and would stay again. Just would like a better pillow and I’d rate it higher!"

The hotel breakfast seemed very overpriced to us, especially since there were good, reasonably priced options nearby. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, we would recommend the hotel, and we would stay there again if we were ever back in Salzburg."

"Staff was very helpful right from the check in time to help the luggage and on checkout they were very helpful to get the lunch packet to go as we had to checkout very early. They also provided free bus tickets for the days we stayed. The building itself is unique with great wood work, very spacious and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast was served with lots of options and at a scenic river view area!"

"Overall, it was an OK experience. We had problems with the shower in that the water was not maintained inside the tub and Wood spray on the floor. Also, the height of the showerhead would slide down and couldn’t be held up properly. Understandably, but not desired due to it being an older hotel there were a lot of floor creaks. They have moved to a new system, where they no longer maintain a night shift person at the desk to receive and get guest processed in the evening. We saw at least one person having to sit in the locked lobby area, trying to get support for checking in remotely. Others apparently were able to self check themselves in. My observations were specific, but the location is fantastic. The overall amenities good."
