"Hotel Nikko Alivila – 5 Stars Hotel Nikko Alivila is a fantastic resort in a prime location, situated mid-island in Okinawa. It offers the perfect balance—easy access to the quieter, scenic northern areas, yet still close enough to Naha for cultural sites like the Okinawa Peace Memorial Museum and some downtown excitement. The hotel itself is packed with amenities and activities. There’s a stunning white sand beach with crystal-clear water, paddleboarding, Sea-Doo rentals, and even tubing behind boats. The pool is spotless, and the tiki bar serves great cocktails in a laid-back setting. We stayed on the top floor of the North Wing, and the sunset views over the chapel were absolutely breathtaking—don’t miss it if you can book this room! Dining is excellent. We tried the Ryukyu/Japanese restaurant on-site, and the food was both authentic and delicious. Just next door, there’s a shopping center with a cozy coffee bar (surprisingly playing country western music!) and some great casual eats like burgers, burritos, and sandwiches. The staff were phenomenal—genuinely attentive, friendly, and abundant. You feel very well taken care of from the moment you arrive. One tip: rent a car. There’s no public transit nearby, and taxis or Ubers would add up quickly. I was a bit nervous about driving on the left side, but it was easy to get used to—and totally worth it for the flexibility. In summary, this hotel exceeded expectations. "

"Iconic landmark hotel resort. The pool area is incredible, warm and soft water infinity pool. The room was comfortable, good AC, strong water pressure, quality soap and face cleanser. Bed was comfortable; was able to order extra pillow. The lighting and charging connections can be adjusted while in bed. Highly recommend a car, otherwise you will feel stuck. Your IDP needs to be within 1 year otherwise it expired. I learn the hard way. I’d suggest they offer diet Coca Cola and more refreshments by the pool. Perhaps a bit more of Western approach to sales at the pool. "

"We had a great stay at the Hotel sunset Zanpa. It was convenient for our needs, close to where we needed to be. There are convenience stores, markets and restaurants close by. The room was nicely organized and it had plenty of space for the two of us. There was a kitchenette, refrigerator and washer/dryer in the room for convenience. We would definitely stay there again. "

"I was pleased with my stay at Bosco Yomitan. The flat was spacious and meticulously clean (aside from some minor dust on the ventilation components, which most people likely would not notice). As we stayed in the "AKABANA" room, we thoroughly enjoyed the ocean view from our room and the rooftop. The flat was also equipped with basic cooking appliances and utensils, enabling us to prepare meals using fresh ingredients from the nearby supermarket. One point worth mentioning is that during the daytime, mosquitoes or other insects could occasionally sneak into the room when the door was opened, even briefly. There were several supermarkets within a 10-minute drive, with Aeon MaxValue and Daiso being my personal favorites."
