"We were placed in a tiny room right on the street with incredible amount of street noise, not that clean and a broken shower. There were clearly many other rooms available. The staff is friendly and the breakfast adequate but unfortunately the excessive noise, smoke, uncleanliness and lack of working facilities made this a lackluster stay."

"clean room, comfortable bed, nice and clean bathroom, most helpful owner who provided customized private tour at a reasonable price. The hotel is next to the ferry to Philae temple but far away from everything else. But they provided every meal we needed. Great view of the harbor, the old dam and Philae temple."
