We had a lovely stay at Vineyard Haven, it was the perfect home base for our winery and falls adventures. The host was great and gave us a few suggestions of wineries and was very responsive and helpful with the bikes we rented from him.
Such a cute, fun space. Location was absolutely amazing. Close to everything. Loved the quirky decor. Owners were so kind and easy going. Will stay for sure again.
Great spot for my husband and I and our dog - we were in the area to attend a friend's wedding and it was a perfect location, close to the downtown and the venue. Host was incredibly friendly and gracious and gave us some great recommendations while there!
My wife and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. It’s perfectly located, and the hosts are extremely dog friendly. We loved everything about it and have no complaints!
It was a very convenient location and we walked to several things. It only lacked in a few amenities.

Liked: Cleanliness
No tv connection was cold to chilly with space heater. Owner never reached out to make sure everything was ok. Little different being in the basement was clean well decorated well ( said could of used our own phone for hookup did mot think ee should do that) however still a basement and with no tv quite boring. Was convenient for driving to niagra on the lake and wineries
We were so fortunate to have found this lovely, pet-friendly apartment in Niagra-On-The-Lake. Beautiful accommodations that were so clean and comfortable. The owner was so nice and friendly and made us feel right at home with my chihuahua mix. Would highly recommend.
Comfortable basement studio. Host was very accommodating & helpful. Convenient location to wineries & Niagara on the Lake. Bit noisy ftom footsteps above & plumbing not ‘standard’ but I would recommend staying here for an affordable visit.
This property is conveniently located in the heart of Virgil, just 5km from NOTL old town. We did not have a car so it was ideal for us- within walking distance of the property there is a great brewhouse/pub and are some good dinner and breakfast options, grocery stores, and of course a few wineries as well.
We were lucky to meet the owner who was a wonderful host and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and make sure we were comfortable.
We highly recommend this place for the overall experience.
Bed comfortable, apartment reasonably clean are the good points. This is a basement apartment with a noisy powered cottage toilet and with lots of walking heard from the upstairs people -- presumably the owners. We've stayed at lots of overnights in houses but this was far below the standard. Luckily we had only booked 1 night and we left near dawn.

Good location
Unfortunately, we stayed during bylaw issues. So no door on the unit. Was unaware it was a basement unit. There was an unbundance of fruit flies, spiders and mice running through the ceiling were concerning. The shower had no water pressure.
With a few upgrades and care it would be a lovely stay. Right now the only selling point is its location. Walking distance to everything we needed.
Stay was overall good! The location is key in that you are less than a 10 minute drive away from everything including wineries, brewery’s, lakes, trails, etc. Best bang for your buck for all of those reasons. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating, their hospitality is definitely a 5/5 and makes up for anything gone wrong. Come with the understanding that it is a basement apartment, so you can hear walking above, nothing we didn’t anticipate. The yard is beautiful and their pup Gatsby was so sweet. We have two dogs with us so it was great to have the fenced yard for them and they got some play time with Gatsby. Overall it’s not your fancy Mariott hotel, but it’s very friendly, comfy and so close to amazing wineries! What it lacks in a 5* hotel amenities, it makes up for in personality and hospitality. Thank you Adam and Donna, it’s exactly what we needed!
This basement apartment lies just off Niagara Stone Road in Virgil, adjacent to Niagara on the Lake. It is bordered on all sides by excellent local wineries and is only five kilometers from NOTL's Old Town. The hosts are very helpful (and forgiving, because we were late checking out.) The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, and dishware, allowing you to save money on breakfasts and lunch. The home has a pool, which we did not take advantage of due to the weather. The bed is comfortable, and the unit has two sofas and a small dining table. Water pressure in the shower is low and the pump on the below-grade toilet makes quite a racket, but it is otherwise a comfortable place and, considering the steep prices of everything around it, a bargain.
Very clean, well appointed room and quiet. It is in a great location if you visiting wineries.
It is in the basement of a home in case mobility is an issue. However, the hosts were very clear about that in the listing and in following email communication.
It was good value for those of us who are budget conscious. A nice stay!
There is much detail to comfortvby the owner n there is so much to do in araa...highly recommend a place to stay that feels comfortable n reasonably priced for the area...
The vineyard haven was a quaint basement rental( bedroom/ living room, bathroom & the kitchen has microwave & coffee maker & eatin accessories) . It was clean. Access to local wineries was easy, as well as the heritage centre. Very picturesque. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. The host was extremely helpful and available .
