Thanksgiving Holiday
The property is in a great location. Check in and check out we’re easy to navigate. Some of the amenities were sparse and there was a bit of wear and tear that could use updating, especially the washer and dryer. Hot water heater was noisy. Manager made sure any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, which was a real plus! All in all in was a pleasant stay.

Great house in a good location.
We were very comfortable at this house for the full extent of our stay and everything went smoothly. The location was excellent, easy access to restaurants/coffee shops, grocery stores and shopping center.

The five of us stayed for a week in this amazing property. Everything was perfect for three kids and two adults. The property was immaculate and in an absolutely perfect spot. Everything in Newport Beach, including the beach, was within walking distance and it was a simple drive to everywhere else, including Disneyland. The owners were very communicative, check in and check out was easy. 10 out of 10 stars, would absolutely recommend, AND come back.

Hard to summarize. The house is in corona Del Mar in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Some activities are a little ways away but we walked to almost everything. The closest beach is a short walk away and a nice walk over a flowered bridge (Goldenrod footbridge). The house was perfect and super clean. It has a washer and dryer which made life easy to do laundry while there. You can eat on the landscaped front porch, the back covered patio, the kitchen nook or the dining room. Gorgeous kitchen and all the supplies you need. We cooked out one night on the well maintained grill. There is a garage but plenty of street parking. We lose white noise and loved they had a few fans we borrowed. Several restaurants, a grocery store and pharmacy in walking distance. Really good vacation. I don’t like crowds so this was way better than being right on the ocean front for me.

Dahlia cottage is an amazing place and location
The property is beautiful and very well kept in an amazing neighborhood . My family had fun walking to the beaches almost every morning and evening. We also loved walking to the near by parks, restaurants and shops. Even in such a great location with a lot of stuff to do, it was still quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable so we got a lot of good rest. My two kids loved the bunk bed. Overall, a great experience. We plan on booking it again in the future when we visit Newport Beach.

Perfect retreat
The home was perfectly equipped and cozy. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of wonderful shops, restaurants, and the beach, it proved to be perfect for our visit with my son. We loved reading and relaxing on the upstairs master patio, and the living room couch and window seat were perfect for afternoon naps.

Wonderful Neighborhood
I loved this property - especially the neighborhood. It is a charming spot for walks filled with quaint cottages and lovely flowers. The site of the house was close to restaurants and gardens, such as the Sherman Library. I live in a high-rise apartment in a downtown area of California and this property restored my need for tranquility and a sense of peace. You feel the ocean breezes while sitting in the front or back patios. You can take walks along Ocean Blvd enjoying the beautiful vistas of the Southern California coast. Corona Del Mar is not the place to go if one is looking for an active night-life; but, if a visitor wants R & R to enjoy birds, flowers, nearby ocean views, and intimate restaurants, this is the place. I plan to go back.

Beautiful!
My husband and I stayed at this beautiful house in CDM for a nice long weekend getaway. The place was spotless! We had a welcome card/bottle of wine that was a wonderful surprise. We are hoping this will become our 'home away from home' every time we come to Corona Del Mar to visit our daughter who lives near by. Would definetly recommend!

Peaceful Beach House Really Delivers
The property met our needs perfectly. This quiet Corona Del Mar neighborhood was close enough to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. to have anything we needed without the hustle bustle of the boardwalk. We were five adults and one toddler. There was plenty of room for us all. (A real plus was the gated front yard which helped us keep up with the toddler). Well stocked and well maintained, this home was more like staying at a friends home than a vacation rental. We would walk to the beach, bike rentals, coffee, and food. We really enjoyed the front patio where we would dine or relax throughout the day. It comes with bikes, everything you need for the Beach, even beach towels! We will be back. Thanks Scott.

Awesome home in Corona del Mar
We really loved our stay here! Full size kitchen with everything you could need. Nice flow between the kitchen, dining and sofa for chatting with family and friends that came for a visit. Linens were high quality and home was very spacious. Nice welcome by property manager. Patio was great to sit and relax with a big dining table, umbrella and extra chairs. Nice to have BIKES and beach items included. We took a 5 hour bike ride! Thanks for a lovely CDM stay!

Hidden Gem!
We stayed in this lovely sun filled home for one month. Right from the start we were happy with our decision. The home was clean, quiet, light and bright. The front patio was warm and sunny. We found it to be the perfect spot for outdoor entertaining. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and all of the appliances were good quality and all worked great. Walk out the front door into a charming neighborhood that is a quick walk to the beach, a park or to shopping and dining. We loved the farmers market on Saturdays that was a short walk from the house. The master bedroom has a terrific mattress and a small deck to enjoy. Parking in front of the property was never a problem but having a garage was a big plus. The bikes in the garage were perfect to ride to the beach and explore the area. We can not find a single negative to our stay. The home and location exceeded our expectations in every way. Scott the property manager was always available and information in the property he provided was organized and helpful. We hope we have a chance to stay in this lovely home again in the near future!

Surprise Trip for friend who finished Chemo.
Our experience was great all things considered. The place was nice and the location to the beach was amazing. The heat, if you need it, doesn’t move around the house as well. If you’re like our group who came to celebrate and exciting time for a friend, you’ll need to watch your volume inside and out as there are neighbors who will ask you to quiet down. The neighbors were quite friendly considering it must be annoying living next to a short term rental property. Me and friends would stay here again if we were to revisit the area.

One of the Best!
We have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years and this is definitely one of the best. The house is perfect, in a wonderful neighborhood where you can walk a few blocks to the bluff overlooking the sea, or to the local businesses along the PCH which are even closer. The neighborhood is very well kept, and quiet. Street parking is hit or miss, but the large clean garage makes that a non-issue. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything you need, including clean dishes, paper products, and foil . . . we cooked at home every night. The master bathroom is huge and nicely appointed. The front patio is a couple of steps above the sidewalk, behind a low gated wall, and was the perfect place to have coffee in the warm mornings. The back patio is private and only for this home - the small 2nd story home in the back of the lot has a separate entrance which you cannot see, and we never heard or saw that owner except when he brought mail over one day. Scott was great to work with, and while we never saw him, he responded quickly whenever we sent him a message. We look forward to staying here again! BTW, we feel it is important to respond to Michelle’s review, because it was concerning to us to read that before we arrived. First, there is nothing “gross” about this home. Yes, there are some stains in the (white) carpet, but they have obviously been cleaned and at no point did this home feel or smell dirty - it was as clean as any VRBO we have stayed in, and much better than many in the same price point. She is correct about the neighbor on the corner, not unkind but not very friendly either (the neighbors on the other side and in the back unit are very friendly). In all, don’t let her review concern you as this home is basically perfect!

Fantastic house, amazing location!
This 2 bedroom house is perfect. Stocked with everything needed for a truly homey stay. The location is unbeatable / close to the beach and the Main Street while nestled into a nice quiet neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back!

Location is amazing. House is great and was fairly clean but could definitely be updated. Carpets and rugs were so dirty and stained it was gross. Bedroom furniture could be nicer/updated and the master bedroom mattress sinks in the middle. Overall, the house has everything you need except air conditioning which was much needed in the summer months. The next door neighbor is not very friendly. Scott the manager was great, very helpful and always available!

Fantastic House
This ranks up there with one of the best vacation properties we've stayed in. The location couldn't be better: close to the beach, close to PCH restaurants and shops. Front patio is great for enjoying coffee in the morning and watching satellites pass by at night. Bikes were actually quality brands and they all worked. Master bath is a plus, extremely spacious with separate sinks and private WC. Lots of room to spread out, extremely quiet at night. King bed was very comfortable. The high ceilings help to keep it cool and there is good cross ventilation, so never missed the AC. We would definitely rent again and highly recommend.

The Goldenrod Excursion
We take a four day trip with our three teenage granddaughters every summer. This I would have to say was one of the best. The location was perfect- 1/2 mile from the beach, 2 miles from Fashion Island shopping center, close to Balboa, and Laguna. The house is situated in a charming neighborhood so the girls could skateboard and ride the bikes in the area independently and safely. There were many great restaurants near by. The house was clean and comfortable for the five of us. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. Love the outdoor table the front patio where we had breakfast every morning and played card games in late afternoon. The kitchen was well supplied for anyone who likes to cook.

We were looking for a nice home close to the beach and other amenities such as shopping and restaurants. This property hit all the marks. Checkin was a breeze and the welcome box of chocolates and bottle of wine were an extra special touch. It was a bit on the cooler side in Orange County the week we stayed so the lack of AC in the home was not an issue. As the managers outline in the property rule book, had it been hot, we are not sure fans would have cut it. If you rely on AC to keep the humidity down and overall temperature cooler, keep the timing of when you book this property in mind. Overall this was a well lit, airy and spacious cottage.

You have everything you need at your fingertips. Nestled between the beach and Pacific Coast Highway. Perfect for 6 people. Lawn chairs, boogie boards and bicycles for outdoor fun. BBQ out on the patio or watch big screen TV. Trust me this place is nice 👍

Property was beautiful and very comfortable. Just a couple of things. WiFi was very weak or not functioning at all. Downstairs bedroom could be made more comfortable. Pillows should be on opposite side so that TV can be viewed from bed. Reading light should be on same side as pillows. Need more electrical outlets. The WiFi was plugged in bathroom blocking outlets for anything else. Otherwise, all was great.

Our stay was wonderful.the location is amazing. Stores shops and restaurants all just a short walk away. The beach just a couple of blocks away. You can see Balboa island and Balboa peninsula and watch the boats go in and out of the harbor. The home is very nice with everything you could want. We enjoyed our stay very much. Absolutely perfect. The owners thought of everything. The kitchen is set up well. The bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, we really only needed our clothes and a few groceries for the perfect long weekend at the beach. Garage was very nice.
