Great location
Beautiful property, spacious, very close to beach, good view from patio deck. Suggest additional sofa etc in living room as well as more comfortable lounge chairs or chase lounges on the deck since alot of time is spent their for the ocean view. Ice maker would be nice. Enjoyed our vacation there.

We are from Southern Ca. now in Dallas and wanted to be back home. Loved our stay. The views everyday are just amazing, being on the water where you can just walk out and swim in the ocean and our hosts were wonderful. You have everything you need for a great beach vacation.

relax time before twins
It was a perfect location and house for my family. The lay out was super for us we could play cards inside or out side. The kitchen is a nice layout for cooking everything we needed was available. We even did a little planning for next year if the house is available for next year. Thank you to our hosts Bonnie and Dan for an incredible week.

Bonnie and Dan were very responsive with any questions. They have a lovely condo that is just as described, with amazing access to the beach and the CDM village. Fantastic house in a fantastic location
Very clean, very well laid-out, very comfortable home in a can’t-be-beat location on “big Corona” beach. The house is on an interesting street…off the upper-level road headed to the beach, go straight and you’re in the public parking for the beach - turn left to get to the private, gated access to the street with the houses closest to the beach. Almost makes you feel sorry for the people in the homes up above (almost…). Along with a parking lot, the beach has lifeguards, volleyball nets, public restrooms, and a snack bar (on the other side of the snack bar, there is a casual restaurant called “The Jetty” which has great reviews on Yelp, but was closed during our stay). 6 adults were comfortably housed in 3 bedrooms. 1 king bed, 2 queens (there is an additional single bed in one of the queen BRs). There are 4 showers (one is downstairs in the bathroom on the garage level next to the laundry room) which made getting ready for dinner after the beach a quick process - and there must be instant water heaters, as the water gets hot quickly, we didn’t run out of hot water, and 4 showered simultaneously with adequate water pressure for all. Beds were comfortable - one note: only the living room and master BR have TVs. Our favorite spot was the balcony/patio, where we had most of our meals. The living and dining rooms connect to the patio, so along with the beautiful view of the beach, open the sliding glass and French doors to enjoy the sounds of the surf from inside as well. Kitchen was reasonably stocked and very clean - has a regular coffee maker plus a keurig. All kitchen appliances: stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker (and downstairs washer and dryer) plus patio BBQ worked well (BBQ is conveniently hooked up to the house gas line, so no running out of propane). The garage is crazily spacious and long - fit two mid-size SUVs parked one behind the other with plenty of room on all sides. A third car parked in the driveway. We all considered ourselves so fortunate to have been able to stay at this beautiful home and thank Bonnie and Dan for allowing us to do so. Their rental rates are so reasonable I have to admit I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the listing - but everything about the house exceeded our expectations. We are already making plans to come back next year!

Wonderful Family Trip!
This property made our California visit a dream come true. The space and amenities were perfect for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). The location made the beach visits easy and the home is surrounded by beautiful properties. The gated neighborhood was a nice security. There were lots of beach toys to utilize. Plenty of space for visitors with garage, driveway and street parking. We loved having a washer and dryer to keep up on laundry as well. The A/C was an added benefit to keep the kids rooms nice and cool. It felt like home away from home. I highly recommend this vacation home and we will definitely be back.

Love this place!
Both Bonnie and Dan were very nice and helpful. The house is 30 seconds from the beach. We enjoyed watching the waves break, and were treated to porpoises swimming right off the beach. We grilled several nights and enjoyed local restaurants a couple of nights as well. The house is well appointed and very clean. The beds are very comfortable too. We would definitely like to return.

Perfect staycation for Mother’s Day
We stayed for a Mother’s Day staycation and it was exactly what we were looking for. The view and location can’t be beat. Easy walk to the beach but staying at the house and enjoying the view was nice and relaxing. The house is beautiful and clean, exactly as pictures. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, the BBQ grill and our kids loved the beach toys. Bonnie was also great and welcoming, and easy to connect with when we needed to. The one thing we would have liked to have was more lounging chairs on the balcony. But All in all, it was a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!!

Perfect family location
This property checked all the boxes we were looking for. Ocean views, walkable to beach and shops/restaurants in CdM. The property sits on a private road along side the CdM beach parking lot, which provides a needed setback from the hustle and bustle of the lot. Main living area is spacious with a nice layout that combines the kitchen and family room areas, both with views out toward the water. Beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas all provided by owner in a spacious garage. Bonnie (owner) was responsive and a real pleasure to deal with. We'd definitely consider returning if we are in the area again.

The Leonard’s were gracious hosts. The view from the family room and patio deck of the ocean was very, very pretty. House felt clean and cared for. The only thing I could mention is one of the secondary bedrooms had a little too much light in the morning and could use a darker shade. That’s all I can think of! Everything was superb! Also they have a nice air conditioning system. And we are extremely picky! This condo is super close (a mile) from Crystal cove, a beautiful state beach with walking paths and A lovely place to spend the day (with Beachcomer’s restaurant and they rent out chairs and umbrellas). It is also only 8 minutes from Fashion Island. Wonderful location. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time.
The property is in excellent condition, it is well appointed, the location is wonderful and the owners are good people. You can get lots of exercise there by walking on the beach or climbing to hill to walk into town. You can enjoy being lazy there but we found there is more to gain if you're active.

We stayed at this home with another couple and had a great time. The house is spacious. The bedrooms are a very good size with large closets. The living room and dining room both had wonderful views of the ocean. The kitchen is well appointed and allowed us to cook in several nights. But for us, the biggest draw was the patio. Sitting outside to have drinks, looking at the ocean was the highlight of our day. We also really enjoyed walking along the beach and in the neighborhood which is very beautiful. We will be back. This was a wonderful find!

A perfect home in CDM with the most beautiful views!
My family and I had a very special week staying in this beautiful home. The furnishings, layout, and amenities were perfect and plenty. However, the location is truly what stands out. Best location in Newport Beach. Great views, wonderful beach too!
The sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the many stars visible at night are just 2 of the reasons we enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful views of the ocean from the front deck. Everything was neat and clean, nice decorating. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. We loved the home, and were appreciative of the attention of the owners. This was our 2nd time staying here. The complex is very quiet all hours of the day and night. My husband and I loved the master shower; it is so spacious and luxurious. There was plenty of parking space for three cars. The gated community kept out beach goers on the other side of the wall but we had easy access to the beach. A bonus was when someone, in a multi-million dollar house above us, was celebrating and gave us an amazing firework show, in the ocean, that lasted 20 minutes. It's obvious the owners take great pride in their home away from home. We will definitely recommend this house to our friends. And hope to return soon. Thanks again!! If I had any complaints it would be my husband made me leave too soon.
