The house was perfect for my family and spacious for all 7 of us. The location was wonderful for walking to shops and restaurants as well as the water. Ron was so quick to respond to any questions and accommodating for last minute construction happening right outside the house.

Great family time

Wonderful location close to the beaches for days of fun. Family couldn’t get enough of Balboa Bars. The balcony and rocking chairs were a wonderful way to get enjoy the sunset.

Wonderful property!

We stayed at 8 on Onyx for a family trip with a 4 year old, teens, and adults and we had the best time! The location was perfect for shopping and going out to eat, the walk to the ferry was easy also. The property was beautiful, very clean and exactly as described in the posting. We loved everything about the property and will be staying again on our next trip to Balboa! Megan

Gem on Balboa Island

We stay in the Newport Beach area often and this is definitely one of the best places we booked. Great location near restaurants and shopping! Beautiful unit and great host who doesn’t leave a huge list of “To Do’s” before check out! Will definitely try to book this property again!

We had a great stay on BI! The property is very clean and comfortable. The style and decor ia modern beach comfort. The kitchen is well appointed. It was perfect for two families of 4. Location is awesome, right off the Main Street. We had a great time!

The perfect place

The accommodations worked so well for our family ranging in age from 4 months to seniors with a couple of teenagers thrown in. Every amenity was available, the decor was done to perfection, the location couldn't be better. We loved sitting on the balcony in beautiful CA sunshine and having our nightly Balboa bars. A great place for large families, we loved it and are coming back!

We enjoyed our stay! The property was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located. One of the twin-bed bedrooms wasn't comfortable for the adult who was using it because of how the beds are set up, so they shared the other twin bedroom with another adult. A temporary sewer/gas smell from the nearby city repairs made it impossible to use the balcony or open the windows.

The group kept commenting on the well appointed unit: everything we needed. excellent location for walks and took the ferry to the beach. the parking was not ever a problem. Great restaurants and market nearby. Quiet location Loved it

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. The decor was wonderful, the layout was ideal and it had everything we needed. We loved the balcony deck with rockers and how close it was to the marine ave, close to coffee in the morning and shopping on a whim. The beds we very comfortable and bathrooms clean and upscale. We woyld definitely come back to this home.

Holiday Perch On Balboa Island

Spent the Christmas holiday at Ron’s place with family. Second time this year we’ve stayed and we still love it. We’ve rented homes on the island for over 10 years and this home is by far the nicest. It is rare to find 4 bedrooms on the island so this unit is a great find. Will definitely stay again.

Great location very close to shopping dining and grocery store. very clean and updated. Four bedrooms are rare on the island. Manager was very responsive. Have already booked again.

This was by far the best rental we have stayed in. Everything you could want is provided. It is a modern comfortable apartment in a great location. The owner is very good,easy to contact and helpful. We have already booked for next year.

Cheerful and roomy upstairs condo on Balboa Island just one block from the main drag. The unit was clean, spotless and very comfortable. We were sad to leave one day early due to high ocean waves the following day. It’s an occasional stop for us since we arrive by boat.
