"Birthday stayover, we attended the Apex for a music event. The Fox had ample free parking, early book in, lovely walk into town via ruins gardens. Room was clean, warm, quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay again and i would recommend"

"We booked a double room.but when we arrived they had let our room out and gave us a twin room so i complained and they added free breskfast & drinks so we were fine . The room was large The beds were made into a double & was large & comfortable, room had iron & iron board , safe , fan , good tea tray & a seating area . "We booked in so that we could attend the Theatre Royal, which is close by. We wondered whether the parking would be adequate, and it was. We had lunch on arrival. My wife ordered chicken kiev but the dish was really chicken escalopes, but still nice. We liked our room. Temperature control via radiator valves. Very comfortable and clean. The bathroom equipment looked brand new."

"Pros: location, history of building, comfort of bed. Impressive water pressure for 2nd floor. Nice tea setup with biscuits. Great blackout curtains: I didn’t even realize there were streetlights outside my window until I opened the curtains at night. Neutral: Has a physical key, not a keycard, which makes no difference to me. Window opens a little and you can request a fan. Cons: not very clean-looking. Carpet clearly needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. Bathroom looks like it was renovated...

"Beautiful location right on the river bank. We had 2 nights at this amazing hotel. Our room was large, clean and extremely comfortable. The was a great choice for breakfast. The location is stunning with a large beer garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. They arranged a 6 seater taxi for us into St Ives which is a beautiful town which happened to have a jazz an and blues festival and a food market. The menu offers a good choice of food in this historic pub. We will definitely be...

"The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Although I am a lone woman, I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable either staying at The Bell, or walking around Thetford in general. I thoroughly recommend The Bell, and will be staying there again. I had previously stayed at the Travelodge in Thetford. "
