Watch the surfers and weekend fitness classes and enjoy coffee and brunch in the beachside eateries. Visit historic Tynemouth Priory and Castle on the headland, Tynemouth market in the station, and King Edwards Bay (less than 0.5 miles) accessible via steps, but well worth it for the beach and the renowned fish shack bar and grill.
