Super 8 by Wyndham Cameron

8/10 Good
"The room was clean. There was no hangers in the room or a place to hang anything except 3 pegs on the wall. The vanity was in the room, not in the same room as the shower and toilet. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were very soft and lumpy."

"House did not disappoint - a mere blocks away from downtown, well outfitted and incredibly clean (everything you could ask for in a rental). If staying in Hamilton again in the future, I will be checking this listing as my first choice - highly recommend!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in New York?
The best areas to stay in New York are Midtown Manhattan for first-time visitors and those focused on iconic landmarks, or the West Village for a more relaxed, residential feel.Midtown Manhattan is the city's bustling core, home to many of New York's most famous sights. You'll find Times Square with its bright lights, Broadway theatres, and iconic buildings like the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Centre within easy walking distance. The area is well-connected by subway lines, making it simple to get almost anywhere in the city. This area is great for first-time visitors who want to be in the heart of the action and close to major attractions. For those seeking a more relaxed and sophisticated experience, the West Village offers a delightful contrast. This neighbourhood is known for its tree-lined cobblestone streets, historic brownstones, and an abundance of independent boutiques, cosy cafes, and high-end restaurants. It's a fantastic choice for couples looking for a romantic getaway, as it provides a charming and quieter atmosphere while still offering excellent dining and entertainment options.
When is the best time to go to New York?
The best time to go to New York depends on your preferences for weather and crowd levels, but generally, spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) offer the most pleasant conditions.Spring in New York brings milder temperatures, blooming parks, and outdoor activities without the intense heat or humidity of summer. It's a great time for sightseeing, enjoying a picnic in Central Park, or exploring the city's many neighbourhoods on foot. The crowds are typically manageable before the peak summer season.Autumn is another excellent choice, with crisp air, comfortable temperatures, and the beautiful fall foliage in parks like Central Park and along the Hudson River. This season is particularly good for cultural events, Broadway shows, and enjoying the city's outdoor dining scene. The period leading up to Thanksgiving can be busy, but early autumn offers a nice balance.Summer (July and August) can be very hot and humid, with larger crowds, especially around major attractions. However, it's also a time for many free outdoor concerts, street festivals, and open-air markets. If you don't mind the heat and the buzz, summer can be a fun, energetic time to visit.Winter (December to March) is cold, with a chance of snow, but it also brings a unique charm, especially during the holiday season with festive decorations, ice skating rinks, and window displays.
