Breakfast was limited but it was clean and relatively quiet. Staff was friendly. Had to ask for some amenities that seemed basic like a bath mat and they didn’t seem organized and tried to clean our room twice on the day we checked out which you would think they would wait to get notice that we were gone.

The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious. The hotel was clean. Nice pack & play provided. No restaurant at the hotel (free breakfast which was surprisingly good), have to walk across parking lot to Hilton for their restaurant. But the biggest knock. Our room faced a highway so that was loud enough. But there was some sort of event going on in/near the hotel. Music blaring til 2 am. We (myself, wife, 2 kids) got zero sleep that night. So loud the hotel was literally vibrating from the bass. Insane that this was allowed to occur/continue. If it wasn't for the noise, this would've been a positive review, but I can't possibly give higher than 2 stars because you stay at a hotel to sleep so you can enjoy the rest of your trip. And we got no sleep.

It was fine
Most of the front desk staff were nice, especially while they're desk duty. The people who helped me when I approached the desk were all extremely nice and friendly, but other employees who were not working at that time weren't as welcoming. The breakfast was fine, and provided a little bit of everything, so that was a nice benefit. Upon entry to the floor, it smelled of smoke which was a bit confusing. The room itself was a bit dated, it was either frigid or overwhelmingly hot; we had to toggle the thermostat a few times throughout the nights. The cover to the wall AC/Heat unit was broken off and appeared to have been used as an ashtray (burn marks). I understand the hotel is pet friendly, but was a bit surprised that I ended up with fur all over my socks. The floor had some sticky spots, and I found human hair on the comforter (ew). It was a fine stay, a not frills hotels that served the purpose of the weekend.

My stay started off with no assistance with my bags. Once in my room i was greeted by a roach. For $455 i would expect a clean room. The manager was advised but did not reach out. I had to ask for her the next morning. I was told that housekeeping would have to inspect my room as if i need to lie. I kept the roach for proof. I was moved to another room but no apologies or any compensation even offered. I will not ever stay at a Hampton inn in the future. It was not a great experience as this was my first and last time.

While giving some extra wiggle room for it being a holiday and the staffing issues that may come up as a result, we had a few MINOR issues (check in late, room not ready, breakfast dismal, hallways not vacuumed, room furniture super uncomfortable), but compiling them led it to be just an ok experience. Wouldn’t keep us from returning, but we’d certainly look elsewhere first.
