From checkin to checkout, the hotel guest service agent were great. The hotel room wall and ceilings seems like it previously had water damage, the a/c was good. The location was excellent near Jacob Javis Convention Center, Time Square, Herald Square, The Edge, Amtrak train station, NSG, Peter Pan NYC Port Authority, Broadway shows.

The hotel wouldn’t even provide water in the room. When we requested , one staff said it’s complimentary, one said we don’t have water in the hotel. The night staff was rude to us. Overall the hotel did not turn out to be how it looks on Expedia.

Staff (Vicky at front desk) was fantastic but the room was lacking. I don’t need much but the carpet seemed old and musty, the wardrobe door was a bit malfunctioning and the bathroom light bulb above the mirror didn’t really work. It kept flickering and it was tied to an automatic fan switch that occasionally turned on by itself that made it hard to sleep. Walls were dirty, ceiling in bathroom was chipped and they charged $10 (cash only) to store my suitcase for a few hours while I went to appointments while other hotels offer that complimentary.

The property looks nothing like it does on Expedia website photos. The hotel is rundown and shabby. The room was cramped and dingy. The staff were friendly and they are doing their best but they are limited by the poor facilities. The location was the only good thing about the hotel.

There was blood on one of the beds and when we asked if we could get new bedding they said we would have to change rooms. Not having extra clean bedding is unacceptable. We were already unpacked and spent a whole day before we realized at night. The AC kept turning off. I would have to turn it on heat & then AC for it to stay on. The location was good if you are in that area for a reason but not much to do otherwise. Only gave us 2 towels for 4 people. The room was extremely small and no microwave or fridge but when we switched rooms to SAME type of room, they had it.
