Nicely appointed hotel a couple of blocks from Grand Central Terminal is convenient to access most of Manhattan. We also comfortably walked to and from Broadway shows and many iconic parks. Great food options at all price points within a few blocks walk as well.

What a find! It has a brilliant location, fabulous staff, and relaxing rooms. My friend and I visited the Even Hotel last week and were blown away by how lucky we were to find this gem. We had two double beds in our room, and there was tons of space for both of us. I slept incredibly well, as the room and location were so quiet. We had the window open every night and were never disturbed. This is a huge compliment, as I often struggle with my sleep. We had breakfast every morning in the hotel as the food was yummy, and the staff were so kind and friendly. Huge shout out to our server, Kamala, who made our mornings joyful. Also, thank you to the chef, Chris, for his delicious food and great Brooklyn tips. Try the Belgian waffle- the orange syrup is moreish! Lastly, the location is perfect. We could easily walk everywhere as we were so central. Plus, Grand Central was around the corner. We loved that this iconic station was our local subway stop. I hope to revisit this hotel in the future, as it helped make our trip so magical.

I wasn’t expecting an amenity fee because it was listed under fees. That was the reason I selected the room. Still a nice place with no ironing board in room. Comfortable bed and nice sheets. Work out equipment in the room. Nice touch. Only slept there. Didn’t spend time to enjoy the amenities that the fee was for im guessing. The cost definitely too much. That’s what makes it not worth staying g but the price is comparable to other hotels in the vicinity. If I had to I’d stay again with no problems. The front desk guy was very nice. Made my day allowing for an early check in. Overall a good experience

The hotel is in an excellent location and can walk everywhere. The hotel bar for food and drinks closes at 10:00 pm which for a city like NYC is very early. Most of the staff was great.

Overall, our stay at Even Hotel Midtown East was good. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and I’d say our sleep was the best part of our stay (which was most important). We had breakfast each morning. Options were enough, and tasty for the most part. However, go early as they seem to run out of items on the menu at about an hour before breakfast ends. The room we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest - stains on the curtains, stains on the floors - not a huge issue if you are not particular about cleanliness like myself, but I didn’t feel comfortable walking bare-foot in the hotel room. The location is great, not too far from Grand central Terminal and Summit One! I was expecting a bit more than average as this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, I’d say it’s probably 3 at best. Good overall.

My air conditioning in my room would not stay on for more than a few hours without turning off. Stayed here 4 nights and every night the air stopped working. Maintenance was able to reset it a couple times but again it never lasted thru the night. One night it went out at 2AM and it was 77 degrees in my room. All I got was a big fan to accommodate
