We enjoyed our stay everything was nice and clean, photos look a little better than actual place itself, just need a few updates. Overall I was comfortable and that’s what mattered to me
The neighborhood was easy to navigate. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Close to St. Charles streetcar and about a mile from the Superdome. The property itself was fine, a little worn but fully equipped. It would have been helpful to have a vanity in the bathrooms instead of just a sink. We enjoyed New Orleans!
The interior was nice and clean. The neighborhood was convienant, but not in a great part of the city.
Our unit heard everything from the unit above. No sound proofing.
The kitchen was not well equipped. There were no bowls, little flatware, no kitchen towels.
It also should have the basics of salt, pepper and sugar.
One bathroom had no vanity, so no where to put your toiletries.
There were no extra blankets.
No vacuum cleaner.
Beds and living room couch were comfortable.
Nice space for a family.
Booked this home for a 4 day Nola stay for a Saints game. The place was clean and easy check in process. Comfortable stay and fairly new furniture. You can tell there is some wear and tear but nothing horrible. The only issue we had was in the bathrooms. The shower curtain rode kept falling in one bathroom. Both bathtubs nozzles to turn the water hot or cold were broken, you could tell they'd been repaired several times. We had an issue turning hot or cold water on. As well as the water pressure in the showers was very low. I requested the nozzle be repaired so we could take warm showers. The communication wasn't great but they did fix that issue quickly.
Everything else was fine, just no bowls in the kitchen, all we could find was plates. but everything else basics was provided in the kitchen. Overall a nice place, just needs a few touchups where you can see water damage and some of the floor tiles have been cracked. Walls are thin, we could easily hear the upstairs neighbors and could hear them walking up and down the stairs.
Check out was very easy. The walk to the Dome and French Quarter is less than 2 miles. Easy 2 block walk to the Street Cars.
Let’s start with the good things:
Inside of the apartment was clean, but could use some updating. When we arrived, one of the smoke detectors were chirping. I called the host and they sent someone with 15 minutes to fix it.
