"The hotel itself is pretty central, sadly the street it is on is incredibly sketchy. As soon as it got dark there were terrifying screams coming from across the street, but the staff did mention at check in that they close the front doors at 9 pm! We definitely found out why. But going back to the staff, very cold and short in their interactions. The room was super humid and musty, the carpet was dirty, and the windows were covered in layers of dirt you could barely see the view. The only saving grace was the bed and pillows, they were surprisingly comfy. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here nor would I recommend it sadly."

"Property was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was horrible, they only offer valet and charge by the day. Valet was nice though. Pool was small but private. Rooms were well maintained. It was close enough to walk to French Quarter and far enough away to not deal with the noise"
