"My husband and I drove to Rodey for a one-night get-away and found this gem. Spent our time walking the beautiful grounds and driving the Geronimo Trail. The history of that area could be seen not only in the de-commissioned church, but also the ghost towns and army fort in the area. "My husband and I couldn't have picked a better spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary! Viento del Rio is a beautiful, well-equipped casita in a gorgeous, peaceful setting — and Tami and Jeff (and of course, Lola!) were exceptional hosts. We enjoyed hiking at Ghost Ranch and at Plaza Blanca, which is just down the road. The town of Abiquiu is full of wonderful little gems and everyone was so lovely. If you like day trips, the casita is about an hour's drive from Santa Fe and just over an hour...

It's in a quiet setting with plenty of woodland to explore and lots of bird and wildlife activity on the pond, but just a quick hop to Santa Fe, and with easy access to Taos and Abiquiu/Ghost Ranch.
