"Spectacular setting in a lush forest on a bluff with views of and steps down to the beach. Spacious rooms with balconies. Well equipped kitchenette. Pet friendly. Spa and heated pool and sauna across the road — no bathrooms, changing room or water alas during an extended repair or remodel, and wish it had been open an hour later than 9pm. A very nice, albeit pricey, fine dining restaurant on premises. Despite the drawbacks, it exceeded our expectations."

We have stayed in different accommodations at the Canterbury Inn and will be back next year."

Staff were friendly and helpful the whole time, and the unit had everything we needed for a relaxed family stay. Loved the walkable location — easy access to the beach right from the covered trail, plus restaurants and shops nearby. There’s a fun retro 80s vibe throughout the property that gives it real character, and we appreciated the community game room/area — a great way to unwind in the evenings with our son. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend for families looking for a comfortable, low-key beach getaway!"
