Dog friendly, rural location,on network of footpaths, close to country pub

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (25)
"As a family of three, plus our four legged friend, we really loved staying in this delightful cottage in rural Dorset. Equipped with everything you could possibly need, and more - including lots of great games, puzzles, books, blue-tooth speaker, etc. The view from the kitchen is stunning and we loved all the Christmas decorations and fairy lights. Cosy and characterful this was the perfect place to base ourselves over the Christmas break. For getting out and about - there are some nice country...

Traditional cottage with spacious enclosed garden close to Bridport & beaches

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (17)
"We had a great week in Bluebell cottage, the house is very comfortable and the garden and surrounding grounds are lovely. My children really enjoyed the play area and our
dog
was very happy having some friends to play with and being able to run around (particularly when the rabbits were out!). The cottages are set back from the main road so it is lovely and quiet and you can join the River Brit footpath easily which goes in both directions. We will happily stay here again!"

Stunning detached character barn in idyllic countryside near Bridport & beaches

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"Fantastic family holiday exploring West Dorset and the Jurassic Coast. Lovely barn conversion ideally located to allow exploring whilst having shops/amenities of Bridport and local beach at West Bay on the doorstep. Lisa and Alistair (and Woody & Buzz) were lovely and helpful, from initial correspondence, on arrival and during our stay. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning at some point in the future."

"Hoods is an absolutely amazing place to stay for a visit to the Jurassic Coastline. Superior standard of accommodation with breathtaking views across to Colmers Hill (Symondsbury Estate). There is an enclosed garden which was ideal for our 2
dogs
. So many great restaurants and coastal walks within 10-15 minutes drive and lots of Hill Forts too ! Probably the best ever cottage rental we've had and would wholeheartedly recommend it - hoping to visit again soon !"

"Our first impression was WOW! We stayed for 3 days whilst visiting family. The cabin catered for all our needs, with a well equipped kitchen for cooking, a power shower and so much more. We enjoyed cozy evenings by the fire, and wonderful night sleeps. 10 minutes drive from West Bay/Bridport. We would highly recommend eating at the Taj Mahal Indian, authentic food, atmosphere and service! Andrew was very approachable and accommodating. We are looking forward to returning. Thanks for...

1 bedroom accommodation in Netherbury, near Beaminster

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"Nice old world cottage. Well equipped, but lounge fire did not work and microwave turntable did not rotate. Very steep staircase with quite small steps meant care had to be taken, as with ducking through the low front door! Nice having a garden and views of horses in adjacent field."
