"We heeded all the warnings - if noisy night life might bother you, request a "quieter" room - so we did. We got an excellent room on the top floor, very spacious. All the staff we dealt with where friendly & helpful. We had 2 dinners, one in the more casual restaurant, one in the more formal library - the food was all excellent. The lamb was perfect, as was "Jose's Halibut" - very imaginative plate, everything worked! Excellent value as accommodation and for dining!"

"Beautiful renovations to a historic hotel building. The suite was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Full kitchen and gorgeous bathroom with an amazing shower. Balcony with chairs overlooking the lake. Perfect place to enjoy the Nelson area!"

"Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds. The train woke us up once at 7am and another time at 6am, but not a big deal. We actually slept really well. Using the luggage cart was tricky because of all the stairs in random places. Parking was difficult one night, but the lady at the desk helped us find a spot. Enjoyed our stay."

"Our stay was excellent! We were in the King Suite which was super comfortable. Having the kitchenette was convenient making it easy to prepare some of our own meals. The hotel is nicely furnished with lots of modern fixtures and furnishings. They are also pet friendly so bringing our dog was a non issue. Luciano and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The rooftop seating area and hot tub were fabulous. The hotel is on Baker Street with plenty of fantastic dining options just steps away. Overall, the Savoy Hotel exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend staying there. You won’t be disappointed. "
