The West Star Yacht Staycation on the water

  • The West Star is a 60' motor yacht located in a quiet southern San Diego marina. WE ARE AN AT DOCK STAY ONLY. We have 3 levels for relaxation and fun. Wifi, fully equipped galley, Smart t.v.s, 2 staterooms, 1 bunk room, 2 bathrooms, 3 viewing decks, 2 kayaks. Boater's lounge, restaurant, gym, bikes, pool, hot tub, putting green are all available for use at the marina. This is for an "at dock only" stay meaning the boat is not available for cruising at this time.

One word says it all. Incredible. The yacht was absolutely gorgeous, marina had everything (pool, hot tub, gym, bar, restaurant, lots of recreational items to use free), neighbors were super friendly, extremely safe location, quiet, 2 kayaks come with yacht, everything you need to cook or relax is provided, Elizabeth the host was fantastic. We 100% will be back. We were so sad to leave.

We had an amazing experience with the West Star Yacht Staycation on the water! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The yacht was clean, comfortable, and had such a relaxing atmosphere—perfect for a getaway. Waking up on the water and enjoying the peaceful views was truly unforgettable.A special shoutout to our host, Elizabeth—she was incredibly helpful and communicated with us throughout the entire process. We loved our stay on the yacht! The beds were extremely comfortable as well as several places to lounge and relax. The hosts were extremely flexible with checking in. They accommodated our every need. The marina was very peaceful. Fun, unique, place to stay in San Diego.

New experience family fun

Fun to stay somewhere new and experience something fun and different. We are used to camping in the mountains and this was like camping on the water. Elizabeth was great host who met us at the marina and gave us a personal tour of the marina and the boat.

Must stay on West Star

We had a fantastic experience staying on West Star recently. Although a short distance from downtown San Diego, the quality of the accommodation, the facilities at the Marina and the ease of getting into the city and San Diego's attractions make this the place to stay when you visit this wonderful city.The hosts are great. Easy communication and helpful advice made checking in and out a breeze.

Great San Diego Getaway

Me and my two adult children stayed on the West Star Yacht and had a great time. The yacht itself is very clean and well stocked with everything you need and the amenities at the dock were easy to access and we had an awesome time! We look forward to doing it again in the future.

Great weekend getaway

It was a great setting for our annual “ladies weekend away.” We weren’t sure what to expect when we decided to book a docked yacht for this year’s trip. It turned out to be a really enjoyable and unique setting. We had a wonderful time! The owner, Elizabeth, was very nice and accommodating, as well.

Unique experience

We had a truly relaxing time, the area is very peaceful and quiet. The Weststar is clean and spacious and the beds are super comfortable. We enjoyed the top deck for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Didn’t stay long enough to explore the whole marina but there’s plenty to do. Would love to stay again sometime.
