We were pleasantly surprised to be told that our room was available. The lobby area was beautiful, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a reasonable size, and very clean. The hotel is very conveniently located - 1 block away from the closest Metro Station (McPherson Square) and blocks away from many of the areas we were heading."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Sonesta Capitol Hill and would absolutely return. Our first night we stayed in a Premier Deluxe Room with double beds, and the room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and felt brand new. The decor throughout the hotel is modern and stylish, and everything from the furnishings to the amenities felt thoughtfully done and high quality. One of the highlights was the café in the hotel, where we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent, and it was so convenient to have such a great option right in the building. Also, the manager was very charming and very helpful. The location is another big plus. It is an easy walk from Union Station, and getting to popular DC destinations by rideshare was quick and simple. For anyone visiting Capitol Hill or sightseeing around DC, the location is extremely convenient. What really made the stay stand out was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, especially the front desk team - thank you, Lielet! When we decided to book an additional room for our second night, they were incredibly accommodating and even upgraded us to a much larger and nicer room, which was a wonderful surprise. Between the beautiful rooms, great food, excellent service, and convenient location, the Royal Sonesta Capitol Hill exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended."
