Well, you get what you pay for. Let’s start with the positives. The property is very conveniently located across from a Metro station and the Archeological Museum. It’s also within walking distance of Via Toledo and Piazza Dante. The staff are friendly enough although entirely absent between 6pm and 8am. Not sure what happens in the event of an emergency… The room was dated, the bed comfortable but noisy, and general standards of hygiene questionable. The washbasin seemed to be permanently blocked which upon the removal of the sink plug and close inspection came down to an enormous hair ball which I had to remove. Mould was also visible in the shower where water pressure was very weak. Toiletries were not provided. The whole place felt quite dusty. My nose was permanently blocked when in. Security could also be an issue. The doors are quite old and require an actual key to be turned twice when coming into the room and when you close the door. If you don’t lock yourself inside the room anyone can come in. That said, a kick to the door and anyone can come in too. In sum, it did the job but I won’t be staying again …

This is a low budget/hostel type of stay. We ended up leaving two hours after checkin because our experience was so poor. Check-in: Inconvenient, brought all our bags to 4th floor. Then squeezed them through narrow office door. Receptionist casually checks us in and says our room is in another building around the block. So we lug our bags back downstairs and around the block - where’s the communication about this prior to arrival? Room: stains on sheets, half finished bathroom and smells like sewer. Worn furniture Other: Even the 4 different keys for the 4 different doors were an issue, there’s no phone reception or any possible way to contact the management. Overall, I think if you go in with the lowest expectations and understand this is bottom of the barrel type conditions - you’ll love it!

First of all thank you to the staff that were so kind to recommend me all the best places to go to and eat pizza. I loved this b&b too much. The mattresses of the beds were my favorite part because they were super comfortable. The room I stayed at was spacious. It had 2 beds and 2 balconies! Amazing view from the balconies to the city of Naples. Everything was walking distance and very accesible. The italian breakfast at the bar in front of the b&b was delicious. I had the pistachio croissant. The room had a blower, fridge, center table, AC, TV, and much more.

The key aspect to emphasize is that you do not get what you see. Our family was accommodated in a different location from the one advertised, in a room with old furniture and fixtures, everything of a quality quite below of that portrayed in the pictures. Run down access to the building, with poor lighting in public areas. Terrible mattresses and very poor internet access in the apartament. Breakfast consists of coffee and pastry at a nearby cafeteria. Extremely limited parking in the vicinity. On the plus side, walking distance to the Archeological Museum, Via Toledo and the historical part of town.

Signor Nogueria.Siamo molto dispiaciuti, per l'accaduto, ma ci preme chiarire quanto segue: Lei ha prenotato una camera familiare depandance, che corrisponde perfettamente alle foto della camera Calabritto nella struttura di nostra proprieta', ha una finestra in camera ed una finestra nel bagno privato, cosi' come da foto su Expedia, e cosi' sul nostro sito www.bbilventredinapoli.it. Gli arredi sono nuovi, i materassi nuovi, cosi' come il letto spazioso , la camera misura 22 mq. ed il bagno 16mq . ( troppo piccola?) Le e' stata inviata una lista con gli indirizzi dei parcheggi del centro storico, dopo che avevamo tentato di prenotare al Garage Cavour, che risultava al completo. Very comfortable stay
We had a spaceous two-room appartment full of light, superb view from the balcony, comfortable beds, great wi-fi. Short walk to the best parts of old town and also close to a metro station. Friendly staff.

Very convenient spot for visiting Naples
We spent one night in an economy double room which was very reasonable and quite adequate for an overnight stay. It was a bonus to have the self selected buffet breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. However we found the room a bit small and claustrophobic for our needs. Our second night we were upgraded to a triple room and this was so much better. We loved it and would certainly recommend you take this option. The hotel is very convenient for walking into the centre of Naples .

The room itself was nice and a good size, very friendly staff too. But the room as dirty with dusty floors, stains on the throw pillows, etc. the breakfast 1 day was also served with a yogurt cup that was 1 week past sell date and a slightly moldy orange.

B&B staff communication was good prior to arrival via email since they speak mainly Italian. We had a problem with leaking A/C, not a big deal. However, we accidently left money in the room safe. After we checked out and left the city, we emailed several times to notify the staff about the money and we have not even received a response!!! Considering their pleasant and helpful attitude during the visit, I am surprised they haven't even respond, even if to lie about the money not being there, etc. Very disappointed even though the incident was our fault. Not happy!!

Bella Napoli!
Very friendly welcome by Ludovica, clean and spacious room. B&B very close to subway station. Breakfast was the only slightly disappointing part, was expecting sfogliatelle as promised but they never came! I would stay here again :)

Beautiful room in the historic district of Naples!
My wife and I stayed here one night as we finished up our 2-week Italy trip celebrating our 20th anniversary. The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. A simple breakfast was brought to our room the next morning. Bed was a little too stiff for me, some people like it like that. All in all, I would stay here again if in Naples. The location is in the middle of the Centro Storico, and the National Archaelogical Museum of Naples was right across the street. If you don't know Naples, it is a congested large city and not very clean, and with lots of graffiti. I notice some negative reviews, but I think many of those are attributed to the area, per se. My wife and I were able to walk down a few blocks to some great nightlife spots, even at night. We just made sure to stay in well-lit areas with lots of people. We have nothing negative to say about the room and the business B&B Il Ventre di Napoli, however. They were very professional and the room was great!

Mirko was amazing! He helped us so much and was really friendly. Although the outside building and courtyard aren't that nice, everything changes once you're in the B&B. It's very modern and our room was huge! My only complaint is that the key to the front gate was very difficult to unlock.

Excellent choice, close to museums
Easy to get to - just outside the metro stop. Excellent communications with Mirko, who also had tips for different things to see and do in Naples. The room and bathroom were huge and very comfortable. Breakfast served in the room. Definitely staying here again if I am in Naples.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in
Quadruple room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom was huge with both a bath and shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing I can think of that wasnt perfect was breakfast. It became less and less as time went on e.g. no yoghurt and two bits of fruit by the end! Consistancy would have made it perfect!

Napoli is wonderful
My first visit to Napoli, it was a great amazing stay! Mirko the receotionist was very friendly and helpful, aa well as the young girl who was there when i first came. I didn't have any trouble finding this B & B, it's on the 4th Floor. Room was extremely clean, with balcony. i did have breakfast, had asked for cheese on toast, but all you get is some cheese slice in bread, it wasn't even melted, so I didn't bother with breakfast for my stay, it costs 5 euros for breakfast, but plenty of places outside to get yummy breakfast! My Italian friend in London said to me beware Napoli is awful , it's dangerous, well for me I found it perfectly safe, no problems whatsoever, as a single female traveller. Napoli people are extremely friendly, so don't believe what other Italians tell you about Napoli! I went late out at night, nothing happened to me ! Also Napoli pizza is the best! It's a must to try it! I went to Rome after my stay here, the pizza isn't great in Rome! I would gladly go back to visit Napoli again, and stay in this comfortable B & B. Just to let you know you get keys to the building, the front big doors are a bit stiff but just move them around and the big gates open. The neighbourhood is historical, which is why I chose this location, as I love history!

Deluxe room had two windows and balconies.Light atmospheric and spacious.. Breakfast of fresh fruit yoghurt and pastries superb and delivered to your room with a smile. Old building but added to the vibe really. Metro only 5 mins away. Loved our stay. Would return with no hesitation.

The hotel is catty-corner from the Archaeological Museum and is near to great pizza restaurants and the area known for its nativity figures. This is a small hotel so the staff is not there the whole time--but were incredibly helpful when they were there. They serve breakfast to your room, from a menu you select, from 8-9:30. The hotel is stylish and everything looked recently done. The only down side was the adjoining door. Perhaps my neighbors were hard of hearing but I could hear word for word from their room. Wifi needs an upgrade --could email but could not load many webpages.

Amazing location, friendly staff, beautiful room!
This was our first trip to Naples and staying at this B&B helped make it that much better. The staff knew some English so communication was pretty easy. They were even kind enough to explain the area as well as call a cab for our early morning flight, which was such a great help for us. The room was absolute gorgeous (we stayed in Costantinopoli). There was a beautiful balcony that overlooked the street and some of the hills. The location is brilliant, as it is just a walk away from some of the best sights and areas of the Historic District in Naples. There are nice bars and restaurants down the street, and a Piazza through a beautiful alley way. The metro is only a walk away if you want to go to Pompeii. The room also comes with recommendations for good eating, which was very nice. We definitely know where we will be staying and recommending to any of our friends and family who ever wish to stay in Naples!

A good stay! There was hot water issues at our original booking location (Constantinopoli) so we were taken around the corner to the "Broggia" location owned by the same people. The room was very nice with breakfast served to the room each day. The hot water for the shower had very low pressure but I assume it was due to the ongoing local water issues and really wasn't that big of an issue. Staff was great, and area is great. Would recommend!

Fantastic B&B near the Archeological Museum
It is well-located - near the archelogical museum and museo subway station. Location is quite safe and quiet. Check-in and check-out was seamless. The room was spacious, quite new, comfortable and very clean.

The room itself was very spacious and almost clean. The bedsheets were clean but the cover over the sheets was dirty. Unfortunately in the evening there was no one there to ask for another cover. They took the taxes for the kids, too. But kids under the age of 15 don’t have to pay this tax. So we payed 12€ too much. The person that was in charge in the morning, was not able to speak any language, no English, no Italian… So we tried to show him the problems with the cover and the bathroom. It was clean, but the shower itself was so dirty, there was mold all over. Everything was completely calcified. The shower needs a really good cleaning! The sink drain was blocked. But as I wrote before, the person seemed not to be interested and nothing happened. At least it was cheap and as we stayed only two days, so we managed. The area is great, you are near the Metro and the City is so near you can walk. If you need a parking, I recommend the PARCHEGGIO NUOVO FERRARIS, they were friendly and the price was only 24€/day. It is near the Garibaldi Metro Station. I hope that the deficiencies are remedied, then I would be very happy to come back again. It really could be a very great B&B!

The location is great with walking distance to the historical city center and the main shopping area (via toledo). Just one metro stop from the main station, taxi took 10 minutes from the airport (at 5am). During our stay, there was no one at the reception and we ran out of toilet paper, this was a pity. Also, you can note that the rooms are already a bit worn out, but this is expected for that price. Overall, very good ratio of price vs. performance.

Das Zimmer war ganz ok, WLan war im Zimmer schlecht wurden immer raus geschmissen. Das Bad muss dringend mal renoviert werden. Alle Armaturen komplett verkalkt. Es gab keine Handbrause in der Dusche nur einen festen großen Duschkopf. Der Klodeckel war nicht fest und hat sich immer bewegt.

Muy buena, es la segunda vez que mi hija se hospeda aquí. Muy contenta, trato, limpieza, lugar centrico, comodo, el elevador muy util esta vez para mi ya que tengo 73 años. Felicidades. Sólo lo unico, los primeros 2 días me tocó unas chicas que estaban cantando en la noche con musica y muy fuerte, no se podía dormir, espero lo tomen en cuenta para futuras ocasiones hacer saber a los huespedes que es importante guardar silencio en la noche
