"Building, courtyard with pool, and rooms were very nice. Bathrooms however were not well maintained and showers had issues such as not having a mount on the wall to hold the shower head and not having shower curtain and plugged drains. The bathrooms desperately need to be updated. The breakfast was ok but other hotels we stayed at in Crete had much nicer breakfast selections. "

"A modern hotel in a neighbourhood that's still developing, up a rather steep hill but not more than 10 minutes’ walk from the old town. Entry to the room and hotel relied on a four-digit code you had to put into a keypad, which also activated the electricity. The room was comfortable and well insulated - important during a cold snap in low season - and I very much appreciated the effort made to put together a decent low-season breakfast box, including pastries, jam, an egg and fruit, plus coffee."

The neighborhood is vibrant, with numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops within easy walking distance. The rooms were clean and spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. "Great location to access the beach, lots of shopping, and lots of dining and drinking establishments. Very walkable. Lucked out and got street parking a couple blocks away the first day, but had to do pay parking at the marina the second day. Reception staff Alex extremely helpful with calling the lost and found at Heraklion airport to try and navigate my missing suit case, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was ok, options for myself and my husband who are vegetarian. Young lady who manages the buffet appears to be very hardworking. Would return on future trips."
