"The front lady was really nice and welcoming. The location is great if you will be going to Gruene Hall. Room is spacious. They have kitchen stocked and they even give you popcorn. They give you lotion, and shampoo,conditioner brand of dove. So was thankful for that. Floor is hard no carpet. "

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. When we arrived on 4/3/26, the bed in our room had visible feces/stains on it. This is not a minor issue — it is a serious sanitation failure and completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one under a major brand. Walking into a room in that condition immediately raised concerns about the overall cleanliness of the property. It was extremely uncomfortable and disruptive, especially arriving late and having to deal with something like this. A refund was eventually provided, but that does not make up for the experience or the fact that the room should have never been in that condition to begin with. I would not stay here again and would strongly caution others before booking."

"It was off season so we almost had the place to ourselves. Staff was very friendly. No ice machine but otherwise room was comfy, clean, fridge/microwave. Easy parking. We would return on another off season trip "

"Upon arrival we were greeted enthusiastically on our arrival. We came here for a dual purpose trip. It was our anniversary and it was also a home finding trip that my company put us on. We loved how the hotel was right next to the river. It was serene and beautiful to see. Because it was our anniversary, the staff gave us an extraordinary experience. They upgraded us to a balcony view where we could see the pool and river. It was a simple gesture but appreciated immensely. It left a big impression on my husband and I. They also sent up some fruit and cheese, which was delicious! We would absolutely stay here again and recommend our friends/family to as well. Before we left, we went to the river again and saw some TNR cats on the property. They were adorable (I love cats), and it was just another perk and memory that we will cherish to have."
