"Staff were so helpful and friendly. Villas were very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to provide some kitchen essentials such as wasing up liquid, cloth, dishwasher tablets, coffee and tea. Otherwise all was thought through."

"I really like the staff as they were so friendly, helpful and professional.
I like the breakfast, every thing fresh and good.
What I did not like were, during the shower the water were coming out and stay in floor and there were ants all over room. 😢"
"The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. The location of the hotel is also convenient for walking to the beach and nightlife. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Great option for a stay in Albufeira!"
"3rd time weve been. Quiet hotel with no bar, but more than made up by location. Close to beach, close to local bars and restaurant, great pool. Nice walk to old town or strip.
Bathrooms and kitchen units would benefir from a refurbishment but well equipped, clean and sufficient"
"I felt I should write a review after reading lots of bad reviews about this hotel, as I had a very pleasant stay.
The hotel is very basic and doesn't have air conditioning but I knew this before booking. My room didn't get a lot of sun and the temperature was fine. It is clean and there were cleaners working all the time. There are a lot of steps in it but I didn't have a problem with that, there is an elevator.
All the photos the hotel provides are exactly how it is. There is a lovely view from the pool and breakfast area. Breakfast was basic, as expected but enjoyable due to the lovely views. It is in an elevated position above the old town, so I would usually walk to the town, which isn't far and get an uber back, which was €4.
The lady at reception was very pleasant.
Overall, I knew what I had booked before I arrived and I didn't expect five star facilities at a two star hotel. Also I was travelling on my own and felt safe. "
