"Wanted a lower cost place to stay outside of Edinburgh. Older building/guest house. Worked great for a budget place to stay while exploring this area of Scotland. "

"The room and property are absolutely beautiful and the location is great. The staff are friendly and polite but there's not much in the way of service. I would definitely come back though when I return to Edinburgh "

"Great location with upgraded amenities! The bed was a little hard, and gym was an extra step, each time you visit, you need to check in and get a separate key. Staff was amazing and very welcoming in this boutique hotel. "

"The check-in / welcome was lovely - we were able to leave our bags and explore. The upgraded room was great & the complimentary snacks/drinks was an amazing touch. Would definitely stay again when I’m next in Edinburgh. "

"24 Royal Terrace is a gorgeous, unique hotel with an extensive art collection. It is a small boutique lodging with a family atmosphere, and the staff is always ready to help. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. When we were leaving, it was like parting with family."
