They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. "The hotel staff were lovely and very accommodating. The room was spotless and we had a clean set of towels and nightwear for each day which was amazing. Those small touches really stand out when you have been travelling for 3 weeks already. The coffee from the cafe was probably the best I've had in Japan, great cappuccino. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and had some brilliant eating spots close by. "
