Top Museo di Sant'Agostino Hotel Reviews
B&B Hotel Genova City Center
8/10 Good
"The hotel entrance is a little hard to find and check in is on the 5th floor. The difficulty is with where gps leads you though and not the hotel itself although perhaps a detailed message with arrival directions would be helpful. Overall it was a clean hotel and nice for a night while we discovered Genova. We had hoped to enjoy the breakfast the next morning before continuing a long travel day but had a difficult time “signing up” for it. We were told to scan a QR code and follow the prompts by 11pm - we did ask again where in our room the code could be found as we did not see it and they directed us to turn on the tv. It popped right up however we each had to scan and create an account to then pay for and get the vouchers. It was such a hassle that we gave up as the website was not very clear to us and truly we both did not want to sign up for accounts we’d have to go and close. It would be much more convenient if the front desk offered a physical voucher to purchase directly from them. Otherwise from that, a nice stay and comfortable room."

Best Western Plus City Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Good modern breakfast room that was also a restaurant in the evening but we couldn’t use it as hadn’t booked . Clean room average size . Big bathroom and nice shower . No bar in the hotel . Near the nice square and also bus including the hop on bus and the metro . Plenty of restaurants nearby. Was hard to find hotel initially as on a small road tucked away."
Hotel De Ville
8/10 Good
"Our room was facing the harbor. But the freeway was between us and water. Very noisy. Breakfast was excellent. Very walkable, but in a rundown part of the city."
Hotel Palazzo Grillo
10/10 Excellent
"So…I’ll start with our first impressions. Taxi dropped us off from the train station down an alley saying he couldn’t take us to piazza campetto. He also charged us 25€ for the privilege. This is NOT the going rate. Went down to the dockside, first impression was it is unsafe and we were unsure about staying. After our first evening of feeling rather unsafe, the next day was completely different. Wandered round the area, went to the aquarium (brilliant) and wandered up to main square. Genoa is an Italian beauty. Our confidence did grow over the few days we were there and were glad we stayed. The hotel is placed in a lovely square and the bar is cute and very friendly. Take time to go in the church. Outstanding beauty! This is the most beautiful hotel and one that should be explored and appreciated. The hotel rooms are fine, air con not fantastic but loved we could put drinks on it to keep them cold. Colder than the fridge. Be careful in the bathroom, I had a spectacular fall getting out the shower, very slippy. Incredible staff, friendly and genuinely considerate. We stayed overnight in Milan and they contacted me out of concern as they acknowledged we hadn’t slept in the beds. This is rare and thoughtful. Explore the area, don’t feel scared, just protect yourself as you would anywhere. It’s a gorgeous part of Italy! I’d stay here again given the chance. Feel our initial fears hindered us to start with."
