"There was a smell of tires and gasoline because the hotel is above a bus deport. I felt very sick and dizzy the entire time. I had to keep the window open so I could breath. Felt like I was suffocating and had headaches the entire time. Locations terrible and is a health and safety issue. I could not sleep because of the noise from the traffic, but I could not breath so I didn’t have much of a choice. You can hear the noise in the hallway, likely because this was previously an office building. Breakfast was horrible. I would have change hotels but could find anything last minute. I’m also pregnant and am worried about how the air quality may have impacted the baby."

"As before this Apartment stood out regarding location, space, cleanliness and friendliness of the host. "

"Would have liked to have a microwave in the kitchen..Hanging lights in bedrooms did not work so very difficult to see,& downstairs shower did not work properly. The view from this property was incredible & very peaceful setting.The owners were very friendly & nice. I would suggest the price of the gondola be included in the daily rate. Since we went on daily excursions it got pretty pricy for 7day round trips per person to reach our accommodations. All said we all enjoyed our stay at a beautiful property in the Emmetten area of Switzerland. "

"Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Unique hotel with very cool antique furniture, which was a nice touch. Very interesting decor and lots of attention to detail as well. Our stay felt like being transported back in time! Dinner here was a culinary experience. The chef and staff were excellent and the meal was superb. And breakfast was awesome! It’s important to note that the food is also locally sourced and homemade, and delicious too! Only drawback was that the beds and pillows weren’t very comfortable - stiff mattress and pillows. "

"It was perfect, clean, practical and stunning views all around. Host was communicative, and there is a little grocery store súper close with staples, we were able to make our own food. The gondola ride to kids park was awesome and its a neat and picturesque destination."

"We cannot say enough good about this place. Our one regret is that we did not stay longer. The location is peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we had imagined a stay in the mountains in Switzerland would be like. The apartment itself was impeccably clean; we didn't find a speck of dust. The apartment is spacious as well. Two bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen and living room... Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. We had plenty of clean bath and kitchen towels. Vrenny, our host, was welcoming and warm despite our language barrier. One thing to be aware of is that it's an 11 minute drive up the mountain from Stansstad. The last half of the drive is on a one lane, two direction road that is sometimes blocked by cows. Part of the charm for sure. We loved our stay and have been thinking about it since we left. We should have stayed longer. And if we decide to travel back to Switzerland any time soon we will definitely include this farmhouse in our itinerary."
