"Clean facilities, friendly staff, convenient location, quiet property with easy check in and out. Overall enjoyed our stay. Minor issue with the tv being tricky to figure out, wifi was spotty at times, minor items in the room out of order (towel hanger missing from bathroom door), no deal breakers just minor non ideal things. Over still a great value based on the staff, convenient location, and cost. "

"The parking was a little confusing if you have a large car, wouldn’t recommend staying there limited parking. The staff was nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, the room was pretty hot. The whole time due to the air-conditioning not working."

"Room was clean and staff was very pleasant & family oriented. Sterling was so helpful to find us a place to have dinner since we arrived late and made us comfortable and answered all our questions. Everyone was so friendly and down to earth and make us feel at home. Breakfast has some variety and it’s good. Thank you."

"I was nervous at first because the exterior of the hotel is very standard and tame, but I was pleasantly surprised by the room's appearance and the quality of the interior. The room was very clean for the most part, but the closer you look, the more you find areas that have obviously been neglected, with the bedframe being the biggest offender. Nevertheless, the cleanliness was satisfactory. The staff were kind upon check in and check out. The free parking was a nice touch and there was plenty of space. The lack of breakfast was unfortunate, but after seeing the layout of the hotel makes sense. Not an incredibly glamorous hotel but gets the job done at a fair price. I would stay again. "

"I stayed at the Arbor Inn for 4 nights, and it worked out well for me. I'm an artist who came into town for an opening in Carmel. I was in the last building on the 2nd floor. Though the place was full each night, there was plenty of parking. It seemed well constructed and quiet. My favorite part was the good, strong shower! I would recommend it for the budget-minded traveller! It is also centrally located to everything on the Monterey Peninsula."

"Basic Breakfast (yogurt, bagels, oatmeal, cereal) but was good. Parking was easy. No AC but they gave us an extra fan. Friendly staff. Walking distance to downtown Monterey. Close drive to Canary Row and Monterey Aquarium. "
