Very convenient location for getting to all the touristy sights of Munich. Rooms aren't big and don't have a lot of storage.

Very quiet, ideal to get rest on business. Fairly large room. It would have been great to upgrade the facilities and have some nice touches such as slippers, nevertheless a good hotel.

Stayed at La Maison multiple times now and the attentiveness of the staff never disappoints. Hotel is always clean and rooms are well equipped and laid out.

Great hotel, the location, the staff, very nice. Only downside was the A/C unit, it was a bit awkward with the end of the hose to the unit hanigng outside the door/window. Didn't feel comfortable keeping it open all night. Overall, very happy with our stay. Thank you.

Nice hotel in a good location, comfy bed and loved the sink and vanity unit however the hotel has a few down sides, the rooms are too hot even in freezing weather outside, lighting is the room was poor, one of the lamps was broken and the shower was temperamental. Reception bar area was being decorated which was a bit unsightly as otherwise cool decor. I would have preferred a breakfast buffet as ordering of a menu was awkward.

The hotel and especially the room is dark. The black and purple interior didn’t do it for us. It was warm and the airco had a ‘tube’ going outside via the window. It felt all a bit impersonal and although the area is great I will not go back

Great location. Lots of good restaurants around. Bike rental place same block so you can go riding in the Gardens. We were there on Easter and they left us big chocolate bunnies on the bed!

Nice stay
Decent place to stay. Not as fun as staying in the Marienplatz but close to the subway so easy to get around. My only complaint is they don’t serve potatoes with the eggs!

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a boutique atmosphere with nice design features, especially in the bar area. The staff were welcoming and helped me with travel advice. My room was compact but comfortable and had a bonus balcony. The hotel is in an amazing area with tons of cute shops and neighbourhood restaurants. It was a real bonus. Marienplatz is only a few stops on the tube or a nice walk away.

Only stayed here for the 1 night as I was here for the football, but this is the softest and warmest bed I’ve ever slept in in any hotel anywhere. Absolutely wonderful. Huge room, with under floor heating in the bathroom and entrance way. Good Wi-fi speed and connection. No complaints from me whatsoever. Would very happily stay here again.

WOW!

Very Pleasant Stay
Reception was very nice and checkin was quick and easy. The room was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The location was in a quiet area but just a short walk away from bars and food.

The hotel didn't have proper air conditioning in the room. The day I arrived it was 90 degrees farenheit and the room was so hot. They provided a portable AC unit but, the balcony door had to stay open for the condensor which obviously didn't do much to cool the room.

Repeat visitors at this fantastic hotel
We adore this hotel, it’s staff and it’s location! It’s in a quiet area, but within easy walking distance to tons of great restaurants and shops. The staff is beyond spectacular and the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had in our 31 years of traveling/living in Europe! I do wish they had A/C in the rooms, as they can get a bit stuffy, but we solved the problem by making sure that we book a suite with balcony (extra ventilation ;-)

Our new favorite hotel in Germany!
Our hotel stay at La Maison was unfortunately only for one night. It was one of the best nights we have had at any hotel in Europe in 32 years. The hotel is decorated beautifully with a romantic French boho feel. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and went completely dark with the shutters drawn. The shower and deep soaking tub were wonderful, and the Bvlgari toiletries added a luxurious touch, while the beds were made up with the softest hotel linens that we have ever encountered. Service at the desk and throughout the hotel was unparalleled, and the breakfast was exceptional. Parking is very close and the hotel's location is in a great little neighborhood that is quiet and cute but is also within walking distance of some wonderful bars and restaurants, as well as a U-bahn station. We absolutely recommend it and will be staying there again on our next visit.

I’m a frequent Expedia traveler and I was surprised to check into this Expedia VIP hotel this July with a room temperature of over 25 degrees Celsius with no temperature control or central air. They had provided a small fan to blow the hot air around in the room. It was uncomfortably hot during the day and still not ideal in the evening. Opening the window during the day certainly was not much of an option as it was close to 30 out. While this hotel does not state A/C as an amenity (which I honestly didn’t even look for while booking), a lot of hotels don’t list it in their page...just like that they don’t list running water or a lock on their door. I don’t think it would be wrong to have expectations to have basic climate control, when they charge $200 as basic motels even have basic A/C. I think this disappointing experience could have also been prevented on Expedia’s end, as they should do a more thorough job qualifying hotels and granting “VIP” Status hotels that apparently have “special amenities”. I highly encourage you to call Expedia customer service to hold them accountable for the experiences and quality of products offered to us.

Modern, clean, comfortable. excellent shower. Weird thing is that the wash sink was not in the bathroom, it was in the room. Electric sockets within inches of water taps. And there was no air conditioning in the room. But it was clean, bed was comfortable, check out was fast. So overall good.
