"Breakfast was chaotic. Not enough tables for the number of guests so we were repeatedly given buzzers and asked to wait in the lobby (where there were no seats). Average wait time 10-15 minutes. Annoying. Otherwise a nice hotel. Big swimming pool and excellent gym."

Niranta Airport Transit Hotel & Lounge Terminal 2 Arrivals

Niranta Airport Transit Hotel & Lounge Terminal 2 Arrivals

10/10 Excellent
"We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The check-in was quick and efficient, and the food at the restaurant was very good. The staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. A special mention to Duty Manager Haneef, who went out of his way to assist my mother, who uses a wheelchair. His kindness, care, and personal attention were truly appreciated and made our stay much more comfortable. The only downside was the soundproofing between the rooms, as we could quite clearly hear noise from the next room. Improving this would make the overall experience even better. Overall, a very good experience, especially thanks to the wonderful staff and exceptional service from Haneef. Highly recommended."

What is a historic hotel like in Mumbai?
A guest who chooses a historic hotel has the chance to stay in a place recognised with a national historic designation. These types of hotels in Mumbai typically retain original characteristics such as period features or traditional architecture in their public spaces or guestrooms.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while "heritage hotel" is often used in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to emphasise the architecture and building. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the place's cultural value and how it influenced the community.
Do historic hotels in Mumbai have modern facilities?
Hotels have the safety features and modern conveniences you might expect, but every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades. Smart TVs, WiFi, updated bathroom facilities and the normal amenities found in most hotels will be available in a historic hotel. Rest assured that when you select a historic hotel in Mumbai, you won't be staying at a place that's uncomfortable or rundown.
