"This property was a perfect fit for our family of 5 plus grandparents. We walked and biked to/from town every day (favorites were the Hanalei Bread Company for breakfast, Juice Bar for smoothies and açaí bowls, and Wishing Well for shaved ice), and we enjoyed all of the fun beach toys and surf boards. The grounds, landscaping and outdoor shower are magical—quintessential Hawaii. Mahalo for a wonderful stay, Mike and Leila!"

"Staff was great at check in - friendly and personable. Room was ready earlier at 3pm so we were able to rest. Great location, close to tennis & golf club house. We walked in the evenings after dinner. The wind flow was great in the unit - we opened all windows, even at night. The only no so good thing is there's no door to the toilet in one of the bathrooms. It was a wide open bedroom, with sink, shower & toilet that has no door for privacy. The shower is also open which splashed water onto the floor, in front of sink. Need a door to toilet for privacy - even though we were husband & wife sharing room, I would still like to have a door. That was the only drawback of the unit."

"Great location. Close to the beach! She had everything we needed. Chairs, umbrella, cooler, hats and more!Close to all local shops and food. Yoga, massage and markets. If you plan to hike you need a permit/pass. Go haena website Beach was amazing! Watched locals canoe races on the weekend"

"The house is lovely in a beautiful location. We walked to the beach every day. There is lots of room for everyone and everything! The owner is very kind and helpful! Just wish there was something we could do about those 4am rooster wake up calls!!!"

"The house was exactly as represented and a teriffic place for our family of 10. The location is unique as the gold course it is located on is no longer active and the area is now an expansive green space and a great place for birding and hikes. With the Princeville shopping center located only a short distance away and in easy walking distance there is access to some fun restaurants, a great Tiki Bar, and a nice grocery store. we made day trips throughout the island and it was easy driving. Our only complaint was we had to leave."
