"The room smelled terrible and was very unclean. The door did not have a safe lock! Everything seemed rather run down and the place did not feel safe. Upon seeing the room, I chose to cancel my reservation, which cost an $80 cancellation fee... but later my credit card was charged a no-show fee of the full amount of the 4 nights that I was supposed to stay, which I now have to try to get returned."
"Wonderful stay - perfect for our multi-generational "girl's trip." The staff was responsive and friendly, parking was easy and convenient, neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of restaurants. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm visiting Portland. "
"Absolutely loved my stay at the Cascade Hotel! The neighborhood location is perfect—walkable, vibrant, and gives you a true Portland experience. The hotel itself is top-notch, with 5-star amenities and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. One of the absolute highlights was the thermal springs—an unforgettable experience and a must-visit for anyone staying here. I’ll definitely be back!"

HotTub, Fast WiFi, cozy & convenient-Casita Morado
10/10 Excellent
"What lovely hosts and a cozy space. I am late getting to review this space, but the hosts are so great, they deserve it. Good communication via the app. Cozy bed, great TV setup, a hot tub with clear use instructions. The hosts were gracious about providing privacy for hot tub use, and made everything so easy! I love that the space is ADA accessible, and that the hosts clearly took ADA accommodations into account when creating this cute space. Cute *and* highly functional are rare and so appreciated. "

"Staying at “Brick House Beautiful” was truly a joy! The English cottage apartment is decorated in a charming vintage style. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, Keurig pods, very comfortable bed and all of the little touches that make you feel at home. The gardens and outdoor spaces are beautiful and lovingly cared for. Bob and Ann take great pride in their home, are attentive to their guests and easy to communicate with. Thank you for making our time in Portland so memorable. "
