"Upon checking in, there was a bag by the door with a pair of women’s underpants just laying on the ground. It was there for a day and a half. The room itself was outdated with popcorn ceiling. The frame cracked where you could tell the door had been kicked in. No breakfast.. just coffee. You have to get your parking validated every time you wanted to leave. I wouldn’t say it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It’s serviceable if you need a roof over your head and a shower. But I would spend the extra 20 bucks a night get yourself breakfast and an updated room."

"The pool and fitness center are open late until midnight, which is nice when you are busy all day, plus they have a late checkout at noon and free shuttles to the airport! Beautiful blooming azaleas everywhere.There is a full breakfast but nothing made to order, still lots of good options. The cons are: limited parking spots, bed was firm so not very comfortable to me, and the fan in the room blows out alternating cold and hot air to maintain temp instead of just shutting off. I kept getting cold from the air blowing on me. No fast food or markets in the immediate walking distance either, but they do have a limited convenience store. "

"The Holiday Inn, Portland Airport (IHG) was a great place to stay. Although I wasn't expecting to have to pay for parking, I can understand why it is required. I can see where people would use the hotel's parking space without staying at the location. Walking in, the staff was very pleasant to work with. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was offered, but it appeared there was a charge for it (I may be mistaken). There was some work underway on some of the rooms (window replacement/repair), but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay. I would stay here again."

"Con: Room was so tight on space, said it was remodeled but rusty electrical plug boxes, cracked sink, etc No ice machine - have to request ice from the desk and they give it out sparingly in a pre- made bag. The office closes at 10 pm and after that you can't get anything. There was jumping/thumping in room above which I mentioned to the office. It continued. Tv was hard to work as it kept going to wrong input. Requires a $50 deposit even though I had already pre-paid for the room through Expedia. Pet area had old nasty pet waste dried on it (artificial turf). We took the dogs elsewhere. Pro: no charge for the first two dogs"

"Despite hearing occasional light footsteps above, this is a very private, comfortable and well-equipped space. Most of all my husband loved the very hot water and i loved the uber comfortable bed! Julien and family are lovely hosts and very kind and responsive."

"We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. The concierge on each night was welcoming and competent. My only complaint is that on the second night, our supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke. I reported this to the concierge, and she said that she would advise the manager to run a de-odorizing machine. (We did not ask for a different room, because we thought we were given the last available room.)"
