"It took 45 mins to check in as the reception staff kept checking in bus tours instead of dealing with people in a first come first served basis. Very poor service. I won’t be staying here again"

"Food was a big pass for me. If you book, don’t stay in rooms 12-20. There is some kind of wind tunnel on that hallway. Every time a door opened, our door rattled. From 730-930 pm it was a continuous rattle from a group coming in! We tried to stuff paper around the door to secure it, but no success. Hotel is really more like a pit stop for backpacking groups than anything. Good for a hot shower and ( hopefully) a good nights sleep "

"Steps away from the train station made it ideal for us! The staff were very accommodating. The hotel is like a warm Scottish hug. Do enjoy the “Tea for Two” and enjoy the lovely and Royal libby."
