"Everything about the place was just brilliant. It would be the sort of place where if i decided to relocate to work and live, the lodge would have been the perfect place to stay."

"Breakfast was below average in my opinion. Good but not good enough for 4-star hotel charging those prices. Also surrounding is too quiet with not much to do. I would recommend staying in St Ives instead. Much more vibrant."

"This is the best B & B I ever stayed in. The accommodation is superb, The house is beautifully decorated and adorned by marvellous paintings by a local artist. The hosts Pablo and Grove are friendly, welcoming and generous. The breakfast menu was excellent, everthing is homemade and in the afternoon we were offered tea, coffee and amazing cake. The only disadvantage is that you have to drive elsewhere in the evening for dinner though I believe the hosts can provide additional meals if requested....

"Our room was spotless and all the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Kat in the restaurant who went out of her way to make sure everything was ok"
"Difficult to contact housekeeper re getting the key on arrival.
Carpet badly stained in lounge.
TV didn’t work.
Other than that, comfy bed and a relaxing stay "
"We had a lovely stay in Mousehole. The cottage was perfect in every way, very clean on arrival, well equipped and close to all the local amenities. All the rooms were beautifully decorated with a coastal theme throughout which gave it a lovely holiday feel. Another great bonus was the two upstairs bathrooms, which seems hard to find in Mousehole. The harbour, restaurants, shops and galleries are all just a short walk away. It’s a great place to stay and the location is perfect for exploring the south of Cornwall."
"The property was lovely. We had just come in on a trans Atlantic flight that day. We ate at the hotel that night which was really good in addition to being relaxing. They had a reserved table for us. Breakfast the next morning was very nice; fresh fruit platter then whatever breakfast you wanted. Family owned and run. The staff commented on how nice it was to work for the family."
Light filled home from home with spectacular panoramic sea views of Mount's Bay
10/10 Excellent
"The view is amazing! The house is really homely and we felt so relaxed during our stay. Everything we could possibly need was there facility wise. We didn't use the outside space, as it rained for most of our stay - not that this bothered us at all - but everything indoors was perfect for our needs. Comfy bed. Lovely shower. nice kitchen. All ace for us! Parking can be a bit tricky, but we got a spot OK and then walked or got the bus everywhere - very chilled time in Mousehole! We'll be back for sure. x"
Beautiful cosy cottage, only mins walk from Mousehole harbour, 3 Large Bedrooms

"This is the first time we've done a staycation and the first time we've booked via vrbo. A very last minute booking! we essentially booked the cottage on the basis of on-line photographs, location and other people's reviews. We were more than pleasantly surprised, it really felt like going from home to home, the cottage was immaculate, plenty of space for a family with 3 teenage children. The beds were comfortable and most nights were spent in the open plan kitchen/dining area which was a really nice space for chilling out, playing cards and enjoying some quality family time. As the weather was warm we were also able to spend time in the outside patio area. The kitchen is exceptionally equipped and plenty of storage space. In terms of its location, the cottage was ideal, it was a pleasant 10-15 minute walk down to Mousehole itself. Whilst the road is directly to the front of the property, it is relatively quiet in terms of traffic. Whilst there is an informal dedicated parking space in the adjacent car park, we managed to park along the road, just up from the cottage, most nights, which made it easier to access the cottage. As hosts, Matt and Steph were great, plenty of communication before hand and clear instructions for parking, keys, etc. They also provided us with great recommendations for eating out and also recommendations for the beast beaches to visit, which we greatly appreciated. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. to v"

"Lovely stay at the Sandpiper in Mousehole. Everything was as expected. Property clean and well kept. Beds very comfortable. Beatiful views and easy parking directly outside property. We were very lucky with the Spring weather so managed to visit much of the area. The property is situated on a steep hill so need to be physically fit if you are walking."
