"Cairon is a gracious host who makes you feel immediately at home. The warm, friendly vibe is so much nicer than a conventional hotel. Fresh coffee in the morning, cookies and lemonade every afternoon. We unexpectedly had to leave a day early and he didn't charge us for the night. What a thoughtful and appreciated gift. "The lodge is currently being renovated so the manager is off site in the evening. Jo the manager is very helpful, answering questions, telling you about the attractions in the area, and how to use the city shuttle. The Subway downstairs has great coffee and a really, really nice staff. 30 minutes from Davis supermarket and 40 from a Walmart. The owner was on site almost every day- very friendly and helpful. "We loved this hotel. The rooms are nice and large (in need of a bit of an update, but very comfy), and the breakfast was delicious. The Springdale shuttle stop is right outside, which made for super easy times getting in and out of the park. I didn't expect to pay $10 per day for parking, I definitely feel like they could throw that in for the price per night. We would absolutely stay here again, and enthusiastically recommend this hotel! "

"The bungalows are a very chic (black and white decor), modern and very clean establishment. The entrance and bathroom were wheelchair accesible (which is not something we needed) but it was nice to see for those who do.
